History actually details that the North American continent was replete with warring tribes of indians. Much of these indians did to each other was absolutely gruesome. The North American continent was NOT owned by a single group of Indians. Nor did the hundreds of indian tribes cover the entire North American continent. PLUS you must keep in mind that the Indians traded with the settlers and cut deals with them. It's erroneous to think that the settlers came and started mowing down Indians left and right. Read actual biographies from the early settlers for a firsthand account of what happened. Hollywood and Pocahantos are entertainment, not factual historical accounts.
As for the immigration issue ...
Every actual citizen of the United States, is NOW being hurt by the 40-50 million illegals here. How?
--They get FREE medical care. You're paying for it.
--They are in some areas, getting FREE college tuition. You're paying for this.
--They can get away with driving without car insurance. If you do that, you're in legal trouble.
--They can crash into your car and pretty much get away with it. You will be the one paying to cover the costs.
--You are paying TAXES, they are getting away in MOST cases without paying INCOME TAXES.
--You're paying for their welfare.
--You're earning potential is going down, or will eventually go down because corporations would rather pay an illegal than you. (Illegals will work for lower wages and the corporations can get away with NOT paying them benefits.)
--40-50 million illegals are in the US, they speak spanish, so many have come in (the US population is 300 mill) and are reproducing so fast, there's no need for them to really learn English. It will be YOU in certain regions of the US who will have to learn Spanish just to survive.
Etc.
Their allegiance is to MEXICO, whereas you are a cash cow to them. Approximately 12 Americans die each day because of them. 22% of all prisoners are illegal aliens. An illegal alien recently killed a black Houston Police offer -- shot him 4 times in the head.
Illegal aliens who've joined one of the 253 gangs in CA, in some areas, have been ETHNICALLY CLEANSING various CA neighborhoods of blacks.
El Salvadore illegal took a hatchet and put into the skull of a 6 year old boy in Tenn.
In Colorado, a woman was stripped naked and dragged behind a truck through a neighborhood for over a mile. Her flesh covered the span of that mile, her face was disfigured beyond recognition. This is the work of illegal aliens.

The US has not been founded by Native Americans, but by white settlers.
That makes the US a western country, not a native tribe.

I think the key word is illegal. Yes America was founded by immigrants but they came here legally and tried to make America their home by learning our language, paying taxes and being responsible. |

cause immigrants cost money... payed by the country that receives them, immigrants need jobs... while there aren't enough jobs for the citizens them selves, immigrants are usually poor and uneducated, used to live in precarious conditions, hence they will usually tend to live in such conditions, making everyone around them sick... etc.

well if you look at how over crowed our school system are with kids who can't speak a word of English that putting more pressure on our teacher .and how over burden our hospitals are with these illegals having babies it's out of control .illegals bring down jobs wages and commit crimes that go unsolved every year because they don't know who these undocumented peoples are . they don't pay into our tax system. i have no problem with legal immigration .just the illegals |

First off my grandmother was black foot, I my self was married to a Mexican(born and raised in Texas) they should not even be com paired to each other , we came to this country legally we brought jobs ,prosperity,laws, we didn't ask for a free place to live, food stamps, medicaid we came to build , not to still.did you ever stop to think of how many Americans don't have jobs because an illegal has it or how many Americans are homeless because our government gives them our resources ,and if they are in our country the should have to learn to speak our language and not just Mexicans any,immigrants.and my ex-husband believes the same way |

If they were American Indians you'd have a good point but there not so you don't.We fought to have laws to give us relative safety. We fought the Mafia & were constantly fighting gangs ,militants & extreamest who attack ower way of life.The eligal immergents want to take advantage of what weve fought so hard to have. They take ower jobs & to push there customs on us. I wish theyed stay home & work to improve there country so they'd have a better life instead of comeing here & putting a strain on us. The illegals aren't trying to take land from anyone. They only want fair jobs, a descent place to live and their children to grow up in a safe environment. Why are the Americans so mad? First of all your statement is not supported by facts.The Indian was not indigenous to this land having migrated from other Continents.This land had no "owners" the Indian was defeated in war and the land became the spoils of that war.The same with the BS that Mexicans say about the southwest was stolen ,when in reality they were also defeated in a war and the land again was the spoils of war .Plus the USA paid Mexico $ 18,250 million for the land .So there goes that argument too.
I'm not "mad" at any one.I don't like illegal immigrants because they are first law breakers and they are very costly to this country,when compared to the cheap labor they provide.I have all the facts and figures to give any one that wants them.And only in your mind do Indians resemble Mexicans.I was born in Oklahoma and live in Arizona .I know both Indians and Hispanics.They are very different looking and very different people.Even the Mexicans of Indian decent look different than American Indians.(yes I know what races make up the Mexican heritage)The American Indian is an American.The illegal from anywhere is not. |

Native Americans and Mexicans are different people, but that's beside the point.
American's don't like illegal immigrants coming into the country because there is only a certain amount of jobs the country can provide for the people, and there are lots of out of work Americans.
That's WHY they are mad, but in reality, it's not that good of a reason if you think about it.
I've seen first hand a few LARGE portions of jobs given to illegal immigrants, trust me, American's don't want to do those jobs anyways. It's also GOOD for the economy because the immigrants usually make less than standard minimum wage, taking less money than an American would for the same job. The Mexican imigrants can then go home with a few dollars and feed thier entire family. |
