Most immigrants that come from India are here because they are on workers permits/green cards. Companies are willing to bring them into the United States because they usually have college educations and are willing to work for less money then someone living in this country.
Most immigrants that come from Mexico are very poor and may not have had a very good education. They come over illegally to escape their countries hardships, thinking the United States will offer them better opportunities. |

1-numbers: there's way too many Mexicans, saturation level times 10
2-academic difference: indians are more smart, inclined to learn (tons of software engineers in the bay area are from India, very few latinos, percentagewise) |

They are not. Those who stay here illegally over staying their work permits, frustrate me even more. A larger percent are here because they aren't really qualified for the job they applied in the US. They just buy a college degree with out getting a college education from their third world home. They can't find a job in their profession because their employer found out that they are grossly unqualified. Immigration really needs to screen those who claim to have a college education that their education is equivalent to ours and that when they gey here, that they are working in a job they say they are and if they no longer work in said job, they need to be kicked out. |

I have many friends who are born Americans of Mexican descent and wouldn't trade them for the world. Ignore the culturally challenged on here. Illegal is illegal regardless of birth place. |

Good question! People on here keep telling us "Illegal is Illegal", but tend to ignore questions about other illegals, and sometime (as funny as it sounds) even give them advise !!!!!!! But when it's a question about a Mexican illegal.......WATCH OUT! The so offensive rage comes out of them. So I guess "illegal isn't really illegal", it's just the Mexicans. |
