What are you talking about? doesn't make sense,i am mexican,and been here in you country for 13 years and i love you country and my homecountry but i would figth if is necesary to defend you country because is the house where i live,work and am happy and i know how the mexicans feel and think, and they know this is United States of America and if you see a mexican driving a truck wich say MEXICO on the windshield, everybody here believe that is because they want to be offensives with you country,and is not true, they do it because is the truck they drive to mexico and they feel proud of you country for provide them of the resourses to have a better life,and in my house i dont have a mexican flag, i do have American flag and is not because i don't love mexico,is because i love and respect you country.

When my husband tells me they always did it that way in Mexico, or how Mexico is so much better, or he wants to live in Mexico. I tell him lets go. He says I wouldn't like it. He says I would be worried of the crime, and he would have to be gone durring the week, so he could go into the city for work, and he can't make enough money, and so on and so on........ So I ask why its so much better there, and he shuts his mouth for the rest of the day.

The mexican people should not be here. they should be in mexico. But I dont as much blame the people trying to work and feed their families as I blame the corrupt political systems of both the USA that has allowed the current situation to develop.

I often wonder the same thing. It's also true with people that are from another state who relocate to the state I live in. They actually try to create the same environment they came from. I can understand the familiar being comfortable, but if someone moves because they dont like where they are and need a change of scenery, why not adapt to a new one?

because they think this is just an extension of mexico. ask them it's one continent. when mexican president calderon tells them and the world that where mexicans are there is mexico. why would they assimilate? in their minds this is just another part of mexico.

First of all, you need to understand that part of "America" was once owned by the Mexican people. Second of all, we are not trying to "create" another Mexico. We see apportunity. Apportunity that is not offered in our home country - Mexico. For Example, i suffer from mild cerebral pulsy. In Mexico i could not even get the same opportunities i get here in america. i work and support my family ALL BY MYSELF. in Mexico i probably could not do this. My mother did not leave Mexico to "create another Mexico" but to help me get better. So in closing PLEASE DONT GENERALIZE

no, what they are trying to do is get in on our FREE health care and all of our government fundings. It's free because they don't pay taxes. We do. Wish i could not do anything and have the government pay for me to live.

It's not that they want to create another Mexico in America, it's just that they want a better future for their families. Don't we ALL. besides, why is everyone hating on our race only. Mexicans are not the only ones that are illegal. HELLO.
yes, i'm Mexican and proud of it. And all this drama needs to STOP. Go to Church instead. Do something better for yourselfs and society, instead of just judging and criticising.

I really don't think they are. Just want to keep their culture and their language and I don't see anything wrong with that. I think they should have to learn English as it is the language of the USA but other than that, what is the harm?
I appreicate Mexican contributions to American society. Isn't that what America is all about?
My only thinking is that they should learn English but if they want to speak Spanish to each other and at home I think that is wonderful. My family speaks Hebrew, Yiddish and English at home but we all can converse in public in English. I thnk it only fair people doing business in the US learn English but as for making them integrate and giving up their culture, no way! Not in a million years.
They just want a better life like we all do.
I don't think they want to create another Mexico at all.
