Why are Muslims in UK allowed to remain there? How many are being deported yearly?

First bombings and now angry protests by Muslims of UK military homecoming is truly shocking. The UK military is protecting these Muslims from terrorists in the middle east! These Muslims are a true definition of the word "traitor". When a large group of foreigners is not loyal to UK but to the enemy terrorists it's time to deport! This situation obviously will not work in long run, how could a government be so stupid one has to ask? Australia legally will not allow any foreigners such as Muslims to stay there if they have beliefs against the security of Australia or for terrorist countries.
Why did these disloyal Muslims come to UK in the first place, which is very secondary trvia really.

Thank you to all who answered. You'd think UK would not be allowed to become overly crowded, immigration would have to be strictly limited at some point for this reason alone.

Because all the previous government's have allowed it to happen, telling us we needed them to do the jobs that we would not do and how good immigration would be for us to enhance our lives. We, the ordinary people knew it was all lies because we have to suffer the consequences of living in the REAL world. On top of this, all the politician's are scared of being branded racist's.

No where near enough are being deported. If they hate us so much, leave. They won't though because they have it too good here.

About time our government spoke up and sorted it out.

apparently after seeing the protest on tv apparently not enough are being deported.......let them try protesting in their countries of origin and see where it gets them.........

My understanding is that the perpetrators of these bombings were UK born British citizens. For some reason the first native born generation is always angrier than their immigrant parents. We have a similar situation in the US.

The vast majority of muslims are just normal people with normal lives, many of whom aren't even that religious, it's just a small minority which all condemn who are behaving like this.
don't tar a whole lot of decent hardworking people with the same brush.
We should however deport anyone with terrorist links who was not born in Britain.

A lot of the people you would be referring to are U.K nationals, in which case they are protected. You can't regulate a person's beliefs, even if those beliefs are contrary to the ones held by the majority of the population. That's the heart of Democratic government. If however individuals take action contrary to the public good, or aid those involved in taking action then that is a criminal act and subject to the rule of law. For non-nationals that would be arrest and deportation, and for nationals arrest and imprisonment. You cannot however lump all Muslims in with those you don't like. Islam teaches peace and tolerance, a message that has been perverted by radicals using people who aren't educated enough about their own religion to tell when they're being used. The same could be said about people who make gross generalizations about a people or religion based on the actions of a few. I believe something similar happened back in the late 1930's in Germany.
