Yahoo is based in California, where there are a huge number of Mexican illegals. Doubtless this is partly a cause of the problem. Illegals are beginning to control everything, and California will be in big trouble soon as a state unless something is done to stem the tide of this invasion. What you are seeing is the results of that invasion, and it is beginning to get worse. For example, soon do not be surprised if the only language permitted on Answers is Spanish. |

Take a look at the photo of "Yahoo Answers Team" employees on this site, in Sunnyvale California, at least 25 out of 35 of them are hispanics, most of those are probably Mexicans, so there you go, the employees at YA (the "team") who are making decisions of what is "insulting" are basing their decision on their own racist, and probable "la raza" agenda.
Anchor baby is not an insulting term, it is descriptive in identifying babies born to illegal aliens on U.S. soil, in the hopes of "anchoring" a "family" for chain migration.
edit: Paula Revere - those names on the emails from YA are like our user names here, they are not going to put their real names on any emails to people who got their accounts suspended. They are making up names just like we do.
edit: amanda - please explain how a baby spends social service checks? signs their name? enters a user number on a social services EBT card? shops for food? pays for that food with food stamps? signs the papers for medical care?
AGAIN -ILLEGAL ALIENS WITH ANCHOR BABIES GET ALL KINDS OF SOCIAL SERVICES.
You never responded to the thread concerning the Dr in California who lost his job for complaining about money which was supposed to pay for indigent care for citizens in California being misappropriated (illegally) to provide NON-EMERGENCY medical care to illegal aliens.
WHY? Because it proved you are wrong?
Thought so. |

Well, I don't know, but Saul Arellano is an anchor baby and now the paper says he can't get his passport renewed without his mother's presence. He's going to visit her in Mexico this weekend and try to get his passport renewed. The only way I can think that he might even remotely be able to do that is at the U.S. Consulate and I don't see where Elvira can legally go to a U.S. Consulate since she is a criminal and has already been deported. The fact is Saul is an Anchor Baby and the U.S. Government can decide who and who does not get a passport. So, once Saul goes to Mexico, don't let him back in, and revoke his fraudulent citizenship. Anchor babies don't want to be so classified because they believe they are true citizens of the USA. I say they are frauds and masqueraders. They should not be citizens at all. If their parents are here illegally, then their citizenship is a fraud and a product of a fraudulent act and therefore should be annulled in favor of retaining the citizenship of the country where their parents are citizens. |

I feel that people can flag you for anything (which is wrong) and yahoo doesn't even take the time to read the questions. There sensor is incorrect. Which is a shame because good questions and answers are being deleted. |

I did not realize, they were deleting those questions. I guess, Yahoo does not want , anyone to know the truth about anchor babies.
here are just a few sites about anchor babies, for more goggle search "anchor babies" |

Because illegals and illegal supporters report your question because they do not agree with it. They try to cover themselves by saying it is a violation of their terms of service (has racist or other inappropriate comments) but the fact is that illegals just complain whenever someone stands up to them! |

Elvira Arellano was deported, came back a second time to have an "ANCHOR BABY"(WHO IS THE FATHER?) And now uses this kid as a pawn to help her to stay In this country. She cares about herself, more than her kid. |

Because the Yahoo Answers people are pretty much subjective and delete things just because they feel like it. I think a lot of times instead of them actually following the Terms of Use strictly, they just delete stuff that they don't like, or that makes them mad, even though it probably doesn't really violate any Terms of Use. |

Lol that happened to me too. Apparently you can't say illegal immigrants and the NAU in the same sentence either.
Ooops looks like it mysteriously appeared way down on the bottom or on the next page.
Lol How does that happen. It's happened to me more times than I care to remember. Yahoo moderators amaze me. |

Right on, US_Justice_101, you answered the question I've been trying to figure out for months. I challenged the Yahoo P.C. Gestapo recently (in writing) and they have yet to get back to me with an explanation why my question was deleted. Censoring of this nature has NO place on Yahoo. The Answers "Team" should go back where they came from...illegally, no doubt. I'm sure this response will be deleted, too. |

They must be avoiding this central issue in the illegal immigration debate. |

Because certain parties want to silence American citizens, which only makes us madder.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if there is an organized force involved attempting to curtail our free speech rights as much as they can on this subject.
I have seen no other subject censored as much as this one on yahoo answers. |
|

Alright

I guess they want to avoid one of the main topics in illegal immigration. |

There's a very simple reason, it's because ......... Hey where'd your question go? |

For those who don't understand, an 'anchor baby' is a child born to illegal immigrants which (they hope) will then entitle them to stay in the US on the grounds that a baby born in the US is a US citizen. Sadly, the child can only claim US citizenship for its parents when it becomes an adult.
If you suspect that just those words are too emotive for Yahoo to handle, you would expect this question to be deleted. We shall see.
The term "anchor baby" in itself contravenes no Guidelines that I can see. Yahoo does have it's oddities - the three letter word for a donkey is not liked, for example, nor is the word for a female dog. These things aside, however, Yahoo is fairly liberal.
Politically, I think Yahoo is Liberative (or perhaps Conservatal) ... I see no democracy. |

This would be a good question for yahoo management to answer if you would e mail them. we also as said by previous answer some "weird" and vicious people at this sight that see "one way" opinions and policies |

These marxists hate freedom of speech - if they are hispanic why do they have american names in the notification emails. |

How long does it take them to delete it? Your question, containing the term, is still here! |

I think a better question would be this....
"do you think our media writes stories that we the people are interested in or do you think they write stories that interest us?"
We only read, see and hear what they want they want us to hear, and we only get the version they want us to hear. |

I think Yahoo just deletes whatever people ask them to delete. I have had deletions for comments which contain no pejorative words. "Anchor baby" is pejorative. How would you like your child to be called names? |

what on earth is an anchor baby anyway? |

Its a secret government operation and they dont want anyone to know about it. Yahoo is invovled because it was created by aliens and the words anchor baby together kills the alien people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I believe yahoo just deletes anything that someone reports. I don't think they check at all.
But, "anchor baby" is an offensive term. It implies that a child was conceived for the soul purpose of being a citizen. It implies that the family didnt want the baby because they wanted another child, but, for a negative purpose.
Lastly, FYI: undocumented aren't allowed to get public assistance. Period. If they have a child that is a citizen, the child can get benefits, but, technically, the parents don't receive benefits.
It does vary state-by-state (as far as obtaining documentation), but, federal law says that they are ineligible. |

its a racist term, and may be its not true because your question has this term and came out. |
