i don't disagree. no matter who they are or where they came from, they broke the law. why should they be given these rights while people wanting to come legally wait? how many jobs would it create if they all left? far more than the so called stimulus plan. they cost us billions in medical care, welfare, food stamps, and crime. the # 2 place in the world where you are likely to get kidnapped is phoenix arizona?

the reason we automatically think of mexicans is that the vast majority are mexicans. if we had a 2000 mile long border with china they would be chinese.

Did you miss the part in your question about being illegal. If they come here legally fine it they don't then it's not okay it is illegal. I work with a lot of hispanics that all came here legally. They have told me that it is a slap in their faces that the illegals should be granted amnesty after what they had to do to get here legally.

Why? Because they are breaking the laws of the United States of America. Because they are costing us $70 billion annually. Because they soak up infrastructure in terms of healthcare, education, etc. and they don;t pay taxes. Meanwhile they under cut the most vulnerable of Americans for employment.

It doesn't matter WHY illegal criminal aliens criminals break the law. It doesn't matter HOW they get here. It doesn't matter if they come here illegally, or come here legally and become illegal criminal aliens later.

There is only ONE way to immigrate and that is LEGALLY. Period. End of story. If you DON'T do this, you face deportation and a ban from legal reentry for many years. Deal with it.

Illegal criminal aliens are NOT immigrants. They are NOWHERE in the immigration process whatsoever. There's no such thing as a "good" illegal criminal alien doing what they are "supposed to do". If they were, they would not be here in the first place!!!! They are criminals that spit on our country, its laws, and its citizens.

It annoys me, because I am in College right now in England, because I want to move to Australia OR America.

We automatically think Mexicans because the overwhelming majority of illegal aliens here ARE Mexican.
Regarding your ridiculous comments comparing European immigrants to Mexicans: When our ancestors came here from Europe, THEY WERE NOT ILLEGAL! They didn't sneak in, they went through Ellis Island and were processed there. They were screened for diseases (which illegals are not). Many were sent back in order to protect our country from outbreaks. They didn't think it was a big imposition to have to be processed and examined. They were willing to assimilate into our society. Unlike many Mexicans here, they flew the American flag, not the flag of their homeland. They learned English, and made sure their kids spoke it, unlike many Mexicans. Do not insult the memory of so many of our ancestors by comparing them to today's illegal aliens.
Yeah, we've all heard the argument that most illegals are wonderful people, blah blah. So what? That entitles them to sneak in? That entitles them to be here illegally? Hardly. I'm sick of all the claims that they contribute so much to our society. Many of them have nothing but contempt for our country. You never see them protesting against the Mexican government, but they have the nerve to protest against the US? While they're here ILLEGALLY?????
They are a drain on our society. They overwhelm our emergency rooms and hospitals, and never pay a dime. They overwhelm our "social services" , by getting on public aid, medicaid, etc. They know how to bleed the system. Just because some, or even most, are "good people" doesn't entitle them to be given a path to citizenship. Mexicans are not entitled to become Americans just because they are in a neighboring country. Maybe they ought to try to fix their own cesspool of a country, rather than coming over here in droves and trying to make the US into another Mexico.

My european ancestors came here legally, assimilated to the culture and language. My legal immigrant ancestors contributed to society and a capitalistic environment. My legal ancestors did not commit crimes, sell drugs, kidnap for cartels, leach off society, leach off of medi-cal, go to jail, steal cars, molest children, tag graffiti on the streets.....would you like me to go on?
When someone speaks of illegals, they automatically think mexican because they are the majority of the problem. Do you not read newspapers? Have you ever been to southern california? Santa Ana, LA? They are ARMPIT cities because of illegal immigrants. They do not assimilate, they do not want to learn the language. They are completely ignorant to societal values. What is it about the term illegal alien, that you don't seem to understand!!! By definition each and everyone of them are criminals. The fact is that to many of them come here and continue to break more laws until they commit heinous crimes. The fact is that we do not have the resources to sort through every one of them and figure out which ones are good and which ones are bad and we should not have to. Like I said before by definition everyone of them are criminals and if they truly want to come here for a better life then they better do it legally. If I went to a foreign Country and committed crimes there to start my knew life there, I don't think that most citizens of that country would look to favorabley on me and I would not blame them for their hard feelings.

Most of us on the pro-law enforcement side do not look at an illegal alien and automaticly think that he is Mexican. That is a anti-law enforcement, pro-illegal alien myth, to make it seem like most of us on this side are racist. If they come here with such good intentions why do they start families, immediately, have the baby free of charge (to them) and apply for welfare, WIC, housing assistance, and health care. If they have such good intentions then they should support themselves and any children they have without relying on gov programs. They shouldn't drive without licenses (there is public transportation). They shouldn't bring drugs across the border and sneak guns into MX for the gangs.
I do not agree with you, these illegal border jumpers do not deserve citizenship. The first crime they committed was to enter the US illegally and they commit that crime every day they stay here illegally, every time they drive a car they commit a crime, and every day they work they commit a crime. These are all crimes in the US. So they are ALL criminals. Maybe not hardened criminals, but they are criminals.

You say they obey the law....it isn't possible to be a law-abiding illegal immigrant. Illegal immigrants make the process more difficult and expensive for people that obey the law and move here legally.

So, they violate our laws and are uncaring towards others.....why should they be given a free pass? If they respect our country and our people, they can follow the immigration process.

I understand perfectly what you mean.
My parents came here legally and work hard and pays taxes.
My tio from Venezuela came here illegaly. but he still get money deducted from every paycheck. He fills out the tax forms every year and contributes to this country.
It's just difficult for "some" Americans to understand.
Therefore, I agree with you!
