its not really their fault its the company owners the immigrant works harder for less money and don't expect insurance. so the owners always hire them over citizens to save a little money i live in Dalton Ga and if you cant speak Spanish then you most likely wont even get hired |

They are not stealing jobs. Most of them are out in a field for sixteen hours, everyday, getting paid $2-4 an hour.
How many Americans would do that?
I know none of these spoiled rich kids or their parents would. Unless it would get them some really good publicity. |

I don't think immigrants are stealing American jobs.
A majority of immigrants are skilled labor. If not skilled labor, then cheap labor which a majority of employers sought.
If any employer put out an add for a fruit picking job, I am sure Americans don't even think to apply because it is hard work and low pay.
Employers don't even think about paying above what they offer because employers have a set budget for that quarter or fiscal year.
If there is an applicant willing to accept a wage below what they (employers) have budgeted, chance are the applicant offering a lower wage will be accepted.
The only reason why jobs are outsourced or exported overseas is exactly this reason. Low cost.
In business, Low cost means possibility of a higher suggested retail price therefore higher profit if sales soar.
If you compare two McDonald's, one with immigrant employee and another with locals, chances are the McDonald's with immigrant employee have a lower labor cost vs the McDonald's with local employee. |

There is a large poultry plant here in ky and the white boys think they are to good to work there and the black boys are to lazy so they have to hire mexicans because they will work hard and not complain. they make good money to. The chicken catchers make over 800. per week. They do the jobs we will not do. |

Well, if you were the more qualified candidate for the job, then I'm sure it would go to you instead. Plus, and I'm sure I'm not the first person to point this out, they are happily working alot the jobs most people here wouldn't want to do in the manual labor field. The last time I checked there was not a shortage of jobs in this area. They aren't filling as many of the coveted white collar jobs that I assume you are pursuing smart guy. |
