Why are my kids goimg hungry when Mexican kids get free breakfasts lunches snacks my kids go without eating?

Cuz the system is broken. Try being let go from your job cuz of 2 herniated discs and not having kids. I get 160 a month in food stamps, that's it. No cash no medical no nothing other than a lady that tells me to go to college.

You're out of work and your kids are starving, yet you have swell internet access......seems to me you'd shut off the computer and put food in your kids mouth...............

Secondly, ANY child can get a free lunch if their parent applies and qualifies for an economic hardship.

There are so many things I would like to address in your question. I know you are angry and frustrated at your situation, but you can't judge and make accuzations when you don't know the facts.

If your children are in school, you can apply for free breakfast and lunches. My sister is a single mom- and white- and she gets a lot of help. you just need to know where to look for it.

I have seen a lot of mexicans getting help. I don't know if they are illegal or not, and I don't really think it affects you. They seems to have a sense of community and help eachother find the resources. You just have to find the help, it's available to you too.

I suggest going to your local welfare office. There is immediate cash aid for people in your situation. There are food programs and even free child care so you can go out looking for a job. if they are preschool age, you can find a local head start program.

I just think you need to focus on what you can do to pull yourself out of this situation rather than be angry at other people.

by your question i can guess where you are from, and i can understand your frustration because that's what seems to be the case. if you are in need, you must seek aid from the county that you live in. you may need to meet with a social worker and its a long process, plan on being there all day. You must express to the social worker your level of need. good luck.

You can get free lunch by applying as well if you have little income. However, if you have a social security number to check and a background, what income you have will be traceable. If you look at the title 1 forms (at least in California) if you don't have a social security number you can put down anything you want as your income. That is a big reason illegal immigrants come 'first' on need based applications. There is no way to trace the income as theirs, particularly if they use a different identity to work.

i feel ya, call churches in your town, city. they should be able to help. go straight to the welfare office and apply. if they deny you call their supervisor. until you get some food ask your family to help feed your baby's. god bless and good luck.

Where do people get this bad information bout illegal immigrants get free food and enjoy anything. Im not in the US so i cant comment on there but same thing happens in Ireland. I was in the bus on day and some guy was spewing out all kinda **** bout how much he's suffering cos foreigners come to his country to take his country's jobs and money how we get all kinda allowances and the goverment even buy us cars. I live in a hostel crammed together with 2-3 people in a tiny room get food not fit enough for a dog and 19.10euro a week dats all. been here 4yrs now and my bestfriends is bout to be deported to Africa. Be thankful for the life u have and stop hating on foreigners all we want is to build a life for ourself

Don't know if question is fake or not....I live in Texas and have close ties to the school system here...I see this all the time...if your illegal it's poor, poor illegals we only come to work, you owe me! For Americans, it's why don't you work. we'll put you on our list! ? Seems like a catch 22 to me!
