We don't care, because the illegals, particularly the Mexican ones, are not just committing a crime, they're also shooting their mouths off about how they're going to "take over" this country. They're trying to stifle dissent by calling anyone who questions them a "racist." And they're lying about doing jobs Americans won't do themselves.

Instead of acting like visitors who need help, your people act like invaders who are going to take whatever they want.

Why do illegal immigrants think Americans have immigration laws just to piss them off? Those laws are there for good reason. If illegal immigrants don't like being taken advantage of maybe they should think about how they take advantage of American taxpayers... and maybe they don't like being taken advantage of either.

Yes, why are people so closed minded? How can anybody believe that illegal immigrants do anything to help this country? Afterall, all they do is leech off the system. They fill up hospital emergency rooms with no intention of paying their medical bills. They drive cars with no insurance so when they cause an accident, an American is left to fend for themselves when it comes to car repairs and medical bills. They send their anchor babies to our schools without having ever paid a single tax dollar to help pay for their education. Their anchor babies usually do not speak English, just like their illegal parents, so the schools have to go out of their way to teach Spanish speaking anchor babies. So, yeah, open your own mind up a little bit.

Most Americans do not have a problem with immigrants, that is a common misconception. What most Americans do not like is 'illegal immigrants.' There are a lot of reasons behind this, but the main one for me if the fact that they are 'illegal.' In other words, they are breaking the law. What I do not understand is why when someone breaks a immigration law they most likely aren't prosecuted, but American citizens are prosecuted for things like a parking violation.

I don't know about other people, but that is my main argument in regards to illegal immigration.

Well, first of all, you should learn how to use the spell check and punctuation more appropriately so maybe people would take what you are saying more seriously.
I am assuming that you are talking about illegal immigrants. Look, The cost of wanting to have a better life in this country is very high for everyone, not just for those who earn under minimum wages. I missed many Chinese New Years (which is the most important holiday for the Chinese)to be with my family because I had to study and get my degrees, I wasn't even there with my father when he died of heart failure, but do all these situations give me an excuse to not follow the laws??? NO!! Everybody who wants to come here to build a life for themselves have to make sacrifices(and I know that my dad would have never wanted me to do it any other ways), otherwise just stay home.
As far as latinos making under living wages making stuff that cost more than their monthly rent, could you not see that they are being treated so badly and paid so little "BECAUSE THEY ARE ILLEGAL"??? do you not see that it's because of their status or the lack of it that they can be exploited in which ever way? I hope the day would come when you can see that it's the laws and regulations and policies that made the U.S. the place where so many people come to make a better life for themselves and that if you people just want everything to be what you are comfortable with like back home where you came from, "YOU CAN GO BACK TO LIVE WITH THE MISERY AND HOPELESSNESS and LEAVE the U.S. alone

I guess I'm one of those closed minded people and don't have a problem with admitting it. our jobs are being taken from us by you people. You are a burden to us. we pay for the free loaders and that is what 12+ million of you are. You guys act as if Americans don't have problems. there our plenty of us that miss seeing our kids grow up. don't get the breaks we are in tilted too. work long hours, do jobs we hate, we work to pay our bills and pay for you free loaders. we have to learn Spanish to get a job about any where now a days because you all are to lazy and uneducated to learn the language. and most can't even read there language. I'm sorry that my ancestors came here to make a better life for there self. and even saved money up to come to what was a great country at one time. it is free for you people. Taking all emotion out of this, the answer is actually very simple. LEGAL immigration is not the issue being so hotly debated of late. Illegal immigration is the problem.

In short, it's against the law. That simple.

I cannot blame those who are walking through the door as they are only taking advantage of opportunity. The blame lies with our own failed policies and government.

So that's the short answer, it's illegal to enter the country without going through the proper, established procedures.

If you're talking about immigrants, I welcome them. They can come here and get jobs, start businesses, live long happy lives. If however you are referring to illegal aliens, then they are stealing jobs. They are a burden on us(the people who pay taxes). If it is so bad here they should go back to where they came from and march for their rights there. The penalty for coming here illegally is deportation. If you come here illegally you should know that if you are caught you will be deported.

The issue is ILLEGAL immigration! People are against it because it's not exactly fair that people come here illegally while LEGAL immigrants have to face standard rules, regulations and waiting periods, now is it?? And yes, illegal aliens are stealing jobs from poor American citizens, and they're a burden to taxpayers who have to pay for hospitals, roads, schools, and social services being utilized. Sorry, you are not getting any sympathy from me on how little they make over here. Nine times out of ten, the money is wired back to their country which hurts our economy! Most likely a product of the public school system (before you bite back, my wife is a school teacher) and listens to all the Leonardo's, the Madonna's, the Kanye's and so on. Do not make us pity uneducated people or people that do an illegal act when they jump borders. I am part Mexican and Italian...and had my family come here legally generations ago. They made sure I went to school and grew to have fine things. I had crap jobs when I dropped out of school and became homeless. It was tough to survive when any job that took no skill was taken...by illegals!!! I made it by educating myself and moving up in the world, now I work for Honeywell and own a big house. This country has a limited amount of resources. Governments get their money from their taxpayers. So, the money the goverment has came from its citizens. If less money goes into the government that comes out, well it cannot be sustained forever.

We American citizens could start to lose what we have. Our standard of living could decrease do to the extreme overburden of this situation.

I keep seeing the same questions about why do Americans think this and that about illegal immigrants.

Do illegal immigrants ever think about what their illegal entry into the US could do us? How they could be draining our resources and risking what we already have. We have to work hard too for what we have and we don't get any guarantees if someone loses a job or has medical bills that we will even get to keep our homes. We struggle too.

As an American that is aware of the situation, I know the illegals are being exploited by Multi-National Corporations to lower the wages of unskilled Americans. As an American, my 1st concern is the welfare of American Citizens, although I have a lot of empathy for someone stuck in the Latin countries south of the border, where they are exploited by their elitest rulers & those born of wealth..
I am not closed minded & wish all people in this World could have the same kind of life that I and my children have... but being pragmatic, I know this country cannot support the World.

A lot of Americans don't have a problem with immigrants. This country was founder by people who came from different places. We are just opposed to "ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS" What makes it right to come here illegally? That would be like saying that is was OK to rob a bank just because I needed some money. The issue is about "ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS" not people who immigrated legally.

Are you new here? Trust me, they really do not care and they don't even try to understand but don't say Americans because there are many that do support and many that do attend marches and rallies. This doesn't even have to do with hard work of undocumented immigrants, it's about rights. Maybe if the process to come here legally wasn't so ridiculous there wouldn't be that many people coming here illegally. Then many of the antis think it's just Mexicans when a high percentage of the people coming in from the south aren't even from that country, they go there to come here easier. I remember when I would first see many of the idiotic, close-minded, and ignorant questions posted on here and I would think and ask myself if it was really possible for people to be like that, ignorant and without a heart but they don't care and we're already working very hard so that all immigrants receive the rights they deserve.

Because people are selfish and they think its all about them. Plus many of these people have never been to these countries to see what the conditions are really like there. After being to Mexico several times, I would do anything for my family to come to America if I had to live in those conditions. People also do not look at the facts. The fact that immigrants bring more money to this country and save us more money then we ever spend on them. One thing is for sure, we need this group to do the work we don't like if Americana's want their standard of living to continue rising at such a fast rate.
