I have major issues with people who come here illegally and drop anchor babes. We are having a huge problem with illegal aliens coming from Mexico. They are the biggest offenders. Do you know the school down the street from my house is 95 % Hispanic. The majority of the students do not speak english. My children who are American citizens and speak english do not go to this school because of this. I HAVE to pay taxes to send these children to school and I have to pay to send my children to a private school.

So tell me.................. what are American to citizens do? Wither they are brown, black, yellow or white when their neighborhood starts looking like little TJ? These people are coming here and not assemulationg, they are not learning english, they are trying to turn the US into little Mexico, they are abusing our system.....................................

The fact is the biggest percentage of illegals are Mexicans. When peoples backs are against the wall they attack the most visible target(Mexicans). If they come here legally there is no problem with them. Not everyone attacks Mexicans only. It is a problem with many races and it should not be about their race. It is a very emotional subject for many and some resort to name calling and insults. It only serves to make them look small and ignorant.

Illegal aliens are not a racial issue. They are a legal one! It has nothing to do with the color of skin or the country of origin, it's a legal issue. I think you are brainwashed to be making a direct correlation between illegal immigration and people not liking you because of your skin color or because you are Mexican. If anything, you have a racist mentality. Your comments are farfetched and if you think people have a problem with your entire race, you are certainly not the candidate to represent your people. If you were their representative, one might think that your people are not very intelligent and I am being generous. Perhaps people may even think you are in some way challenged. Many people will probably assess your comments as being similar comments made by scapegoats who really offer no true, informed, educated assessment of the illegal immigration problem that exists today. Really though, it's pretty clear who the real racist is, you said enough to let us all know. So, next time you wonder why somebody doesn't like your race, maybe it's because they've been exposed to comments by somebody that has a similar mentality as you. It's pretty hard to believe you were born and raised here. Maybe you should surround yourself with different people because it sounds like they've been feeding your head with garbage. By the way, my best friend is Mexican, born and raised in the US just like you. Just like any other educated American, he understands and is bothered by the illegal immigration problem that is taking place in this country, mostly by Mexicans. He is not a traitor to his own race. He is embarrassed by his race right now and has been for quite some time. He has seen first hand generation after generation of Mexicans living in America who still can't speak decent English and haven't even bothered to take advantage of getting an education. He doesn't think every Mexican is like this but he says he knows plenty who are. He believes that Mexican Americans support illegal immigrants because they see it as an opportunity to advance their race regardless if it's at America's expense. He believes they would be content with making America as Mexican as possible.....That it is difficult for him to see any real attempt by them to truly assimilate. So, next time you start feeling sorry for yourself, here's a little truth you can keep in mind that will remind you of why some people dislike (not to be confused with being racist) illegal immigration and illegal immigrant supporters...there are more people killed in the US annually at the hands of illegal immigrants which are mostly comprised of Mexicans, than have died during the attack of 9/11. This list is endless why people might have a problem with Mexicans. If you truly want to see racism, paint yourself white and go to Mexico. By the way, tell your people to quit saying they are "hard workers". What, look around, do you think Mexicans are the only people that are working hard! Why do you think that the people who are against illegal immigration are against all Mexicans? Razor handed you the stats on what illegal immigration does to this country. Does this bother you because you are an anchor baby? I mean, all of those are citizens, legally. Poor kids born only so that the parents could play the "parent card" to try to stay here. What "us" do you think people want detained? Are you legal or not? I don't think concentration camps are the answer, but one hell of a huge wall, and toss the illegals back over it. We cannot bring every poor person in the world to live in America. By being a country that shares a border with the US, poor Mexicans, and not poor Mexicans, can get here at will. Does anyone feel sorry for the dying children of places in Africa? The ones you see with distended bellies from starvation, too weak to get the flies off of their eyes? I feel for them very much, but we can't bring them all over here. So, why should America let in all the people who want to come, regardless of who they are, what they might have done, just because we happen to share a border? Or that people from other SA countries, like El Salvador, just because they can logistically get here easier than an Ethopian? Should we just let everyone come up? And would that not be the easiest route for terrorists if we did? Get from Iraq and then use the "Open Door From Mexico" lanes to drive right into this country and car bomb us.
Border control has nothing to do with legal residents or their skin color. Border control is not a race issue, it is a safety issue, so stop throwing in the racist card. You wouldn't have to consider it a race problem if people of your race weren't breaking our laws daily to get here illegally.

I am Xicano, I cannot call myself American because of government labeling and because of the thinking just like the people who responded above. They make an effort to keep another race down no matter what, they have done it to the Chinese, Irish, Germans, Italians, Indians, Blacks, and now, Mexicans. The only way they can make their existence worthwhile, is to live off of hate, fear, and ignorance.

The only reason why Mexicans are getting a bad rap is because we are becoming more prominent in society. This country is exactly where we are supposed to be. And just because these people have tried hard to push us back into a small area, causing a gross spill over, they freak out. Just because one little white dude saw a Mexican move next door to him, all the sudden there is an immigration problem.
