Why are some people so HATEFUL to immigrants here in the USA LEGALLY?

First of all most Latin Americans including mexicans are of mixed spanish and indigeneuous ancestry.

About 30% of the population of Mexico is pure aztec and are discriminated against by both the White Mexicans(9-15%) and Mestizo Mexicans(55-60%).

By, the way there are/were many more Native Americans in Latin America, than in the US and Canada.

So many Native Latin Americans that are discriminated against in their own countries come to the US and take their rage out on the Anglos as the rulling class of White Hispanics don't allow them to do so in their home countries.

Probably backlash because of the lack of respect Illegals from Mexico have for the laws of this country , the horrible effects they have had on our economy, I salute him for doing the right thing , but most Mexicans just jump the border illegally he is the exception not the rule he is paying for the crimes of others..

If hes here legaly fine if he snuck over the border and is hanging drywall illegaly and putting hard working americans out of work because hell work for 5 bucks an hour then catapult him back where he came from. I got no problem with those who do it legaly, but consider those who dont the same as an intruder in my own home.Also your european relatives probaly checked in at Ellis Island. They payed taxes and became citizens the way it was meant to be done. Respectfully.

some people...even some non white people, think that america belongs to whites. they forget that white people are not indigenous to this country.

why do you think whites are called americans but non whites are hyphenated americans (african-american, hispanic-american, native-american) ? there is an unconscious idea that only whites can be real americans. i've heard some non white people call a white person.."a real american, not a black one". this superiority shi** is old. no one but an indigenous person can say "go back to your own country" without sounding like a total idiot. the thing is, i rarely hear one of us say that...it's always a white person.
and no...not all whites are like this, but all the ones like this are white in my experience.

Perhaps he was upset that our insane policy on immigration allows 2 million immigrants a year, while 8 million Americans are out of work. As I state, the USA's immigration policy is quite insane. Would any other country in the world allow massive numbers of immigrants during a recession?

Many Americans are getting tired of being treated like second class citizens by our govt, while immigrants get so many benefits from state, local, and the federal govt from our taxes.

i dont think people have problems with legal immigrants, i certainly dont. Maybe it was the fact that he was a mexican that touched a nerve, on account of how much theyve taken advantage of this country and how much problems they cause. Dont take it as an anti immigrant thing, take it as an anti mexican thing.

I don't hate illegal aliens or immigrants for that matter, In fact i cannot blame them for trying to become citizens of the United States its still the greatest country in the world. What i do hate is what they are doing to the country! I also hate it when the pro Illegal crowd refuses to admit the obvious. I hate it when people cannot see that my idea of the american dream is slipping away for my children and they cannot make a connection to things like both legal and illegal immigration being a major affect to that.
Immigrants both legal and illegal kill the American dream for the rest of us...They may be happy working for 7.00 an hour with no benefits the rest of us aren't! That may be their idea of the american dream but its not to the rest of us!
With the shape our economy is in right now we don't need them here!
They drive wages down and demand to many social services from our government!
We need to start taking care of our own poor before we take care of the poor of other nations. That's not hate its just self preservation.

What happend to share THE LOVE i mean come on we shared THE LOVE with black people and they are the ones u see on the news everyday about killing somebody over drugs or just because someone looked at them wrong. Me personal i would rather have hispanics over here than black people. At least over half the hispanic population are working while just about all blacks are living off the gov. The hispanics are taking the jobs that we don't want like construction, restaurant,milking cows,chopping cutting housing and stripping tobacco. If some of these people actually sat down and talked to a hispanic then maby they would have a different look on them. Compare the work, and crime rate with hispanics and blacks and see what u get. in some states it might be different my in my state blacks are ranked #1 in crime, unemployment,robbery,murders,jails,priso... everything else under the fu**ing sun.

I find it interesting that the same old argument about "Lazy Americans" on welfare always comes up during these discussions. The really ironic part iis that the same people who complain about it as a means of justifying illegal immigration are ALSO the same people who constantly vote for those people who support and increase these entitlement programs. Obviously, they have no problem with these programs or the people who avail themselves of them. They're just showing their hypocrisy.

People are so stupid in this country and as soon as they hear the word "immigrant" they automatically think "illegal immigrant" and begin spewing their hate. I am hispanic (6th generation, from Mexico) and people still never fail to call me wet-back or spick -- as if I swam across the Rio Grande just yesterday. I don't even know Spanish!

But I apologize for the idiotic comments people may have made against your boyfriend. That kind of thinking embarrasses me as an American.
