Why are there so many racists on this website? So many against Mexicans...?

I am not against the Mexicans that want to work over here i am fed up with all the free loaders. I think Americans are fed up with all of the Illegals, not just the Mexicans. Sept, 11 was a sad day and thousands of people lost there lives. One of the hijackers who was an illegal the day after he flew the plane into one of the towers he got his visa. There are over 12 million Illegal immigrants here. That means 12 million people that do no get there polo shot, measles, ext. which might means what.

People are upset mainly because of illegal immigrants.
And the costs, money, jobs go out to them when it should be towards people who are supposed to be here.
I know A LOT of "legal" Mexicans that are upset over the illegal ones as well and where their tax money goes to.
I was not born in this country, I am from Ireland but I have been here since I was a child and I am a US citizen now.. I do get people who are sometimes racist against me still, but that is just ignorance.

I see a lot of this site too, and perhaps they should be removed. I cannot stand racist people, but it is also freedon of speech.

It's an election year and the politicians have told the dumbest of our population that immigration is a big deal. And, unfortunately, most people are stupid enough to buy that. Maybe one day they will see through these obvious smoke screens to the real issues facing the nation â€“ but I wonâ€™t hold my breath.

I do not believe that anyone is against the Mexican population. As people have stated on NUMEROUS occasions, people are opposed to ILLEGAL IMMAGRATION! No one has said anything negative about legal Mexicans.

The media does an excellent job of turning things into racists issues and people follow that tendency. This is a political strategy to distract the public from the real reason our economy is so slack,Irak. Politicians are sly crafty creatures and know Americans weaknesses. They have to find someone to blame for our failing economy, so they pick on the weaker minority. Fact:the Mexicans have no political power in the U.S. unlike other minorities.

A whole lot of people in the society need to get a life. I feel the same way. I am not a Mexican. It's not just about Mexicans trust me. We hate it when somone calls us racist -- then again we don't think twice before we make a racist comment.

As long as illegal aliens can hide behind the term "racist" and as long as legitimate residents think that this is a joke the proplem will continue.

I follow these questions closely as I live in a border state and am very familiar with the problem. I don't see that racism is much of a problem. I DO see that illegals and their supporters play the race card as often as possible.

The recent demonstrations against criminalizing the employment of illegals is a very good example.

Legal or Illegal, it shouldn't effect the way people think of you as a person. They are just people.

Preacher or pedophile, murderer or missionary, rapist or rugby player. They are just people. All we have to do is join hands and sing "It's a Small World" and everything will be fine.

Until people can get a real handle on the word "illegal" the worst you will see is a rant from time to time. Don't you think that is a small price to pay for the country to be so progressive. Many prisons are 30% full of illegals, emergency rooms along the border are closing daily, class rooms are over crowded, and who knows how much welfare goes down the toilet.

No Ma'am, we must either drop all border control, throw the doors wide open, burn the Constitution, and turn our sovereignty over to U.N. Or we must get a handle on the illegals in this country.

Just out of curiosity, how many of the 9-11 terrorist were here legally at the time of the attack?

Racism is an overused term in today's society. Real racism is born out of an internal, irrational hate usualy caused by ones society and environment. Today's Politicaly correct racism is born out of a lack of knowledge and a fear of being disliked. For example, calling Muslim terrorists insurgents, a term that can be linked to the French freedom fighters of WWII. Though overused, racism is still the cause of some hate. As for Mexican racism, it is usually derived from the crisis of many illegal immigrants surging the country. Just saying Mexican's are wrong for illegally coming into the country, which they are, is not enough. One must look at what they are coming from, a country that will sell out their own workforce to better there own economy. Many people in the United States would not survive in the conditions of the average Mexican worker, in Mexico or the United States. Most of them put pride and respect behind, something someone from the United States would never do, there families in search of money. Like I said, Mexicans are wrong for breaking the laws and should be sent back to their country, something that is terribly harsh and nieve to say since I have never experienced their hardships. Closer to your point, sometimes the best chance for success involves terrible hurt but that does NOT excuse hate. Racism does come from the person spewing it, however, to just disreguard them as bigots is irresponsible. Many of them need to be enlightened because they come from a secluded environment and don't know better. Your best examples can come from urban ghettos where only hate is preached. One would be amazed by the reformations that can come just from Truth being told to people who don't know better.
