People do need to realize that the people come here because the business owners will employ them. It is the business owners they should be mad at, not those poor, desperate people who just need a job. And if you ignoramuses actually think the e.coli thing happened because they were "crapping on the spinach", then you are beyond help and nothing I say will change your mind, and I'm ok with that. |

All I want is people to play by the rules. If anything we have a illegal employer problem. |

How to change your idiot views in 8 easy steps:
1.shut the hell up
2. live in a border state for more than 3 years
3. actually dress like a women and walk down the street, while doing this count how many perverted whistles and stares you get from Mexicans.
4. pay taxes
5. get the job you want but be forced to learn spanish, because they are to ignorant to learn english.
6. teach a classroom with 50% mexican children that cant even say the word "yes"
7. go to the doctors office and wait 3+ hours in the waiting room with five mexican families and their 10 screaming kids while all the mexicans ahead of you are getting free health care.
8. go to a fast food restaurant and have to repeat your order 10 times because they don't "espeak a engles"
oh and by feeding us do you mean how they have been fertilizing their spinach and lettuce with human feces and then bringing it to America so that we could all have the privlege of getting ecoli ?!? |

Oh it is not. Deport them then so we can find out. Do you believe polliwogs can flourish in salad too? Come on now, get our Visa issue dealt with so you won't be an illegal alien anymore. I am an American now, join me in following the laws of this great nation. |

I would rather pay more for vegetables and fruit than support lawbreakers. People are really sick of this. You know, they CAN come here legally. Isn't this the point? I mean really, why don't they? Seems to me they are a stubborn people who won't obey the rules, learn the language or act honestly. |

Are you talking about those who feed us with the e-coli laden food? Migrant workers crapping on the produce?
Anyways, Bunt, being an illegal alien in this country, this is not YOUR economy because you do not positively contribute to it. You and ALL illegal immigrants are a negative to the economy of the USA.
Illegal immigrants are not responsible for feeding me. I am quite capable of feeding myself and I do it nicely without them.
Have fun deporting me, Tegaras. I live in Canada. |

bunt i grew up on farm we grew it , picked it , canned it, and i even sold it door to door as a kid and i think Americans can take care of ourselves just fine you and your illegal friends on the other hand how will you take care of your selves with out us we give you jobs if you go home how will you survive. i see your desperation and fear |

Listen here you snobby little silver spoon fed snoot!!! There is no job a true American won't do, we just expect to get paid for what we do whereas the illegals are willing to do it for slave labor wages, therefore forcing us to accept less for our children!!! Feed us? Feed yourself!!! |

I don't agree with you on that. There are millions of people U.S. citizens that are looking for jobs. They would gladly work for the pay that the immigrants are working for if they also had to pay no taxes from their paycheck. If our tax dollars only went toward helping our legal citizens there would not be a need to cut the lower paid workers so much more in taxes than the upper class have to pay. |

Let them come here legally and work. Simple as that. |

And I thought your question was directed at the middle and lower classes with regard to the rich and all those taxes they pay.
The agricultural community would do just fine without illegals. They would be forced to adjust to the new reality.
Believe me, no illegal alien is feeding us. |

no body feeds me and my family but myself. I work for my money,i pay my bill's. I take care of me and mine. not some illegal. and further more we buy the food that is picked. we pay the illegals for picking. so don't come on here and say they feed us. we feed are own family. |

I feed myself thanks. You know, I am beginning to think you are very helpless person. You seem to think no one is capable of doing anything themselves. Is this rooted in personal experience?
Just how much of your daily activities are actually conducted by yourself?
I cry no tears for people who hire illegals, they seek them out to exploit them, but I guess that is okay with you right? As long as the job gets done. It is a crime to hire illegals and it is also exploitation. They got what they deserved. |

wow, your pretty diluted. you call Americans ignorant and then say Americans never start at the bottom, all in the same sentence. how truly dumb you are. do have any idea how many Americans work at a fast food job? or washing dishes? or waiting tables? this is the bottom lady, not everyone in America is born into wealth, no matter what your fantasy's tell you. my husband worked at more than one cattle ranch and farm for several years when we first met. yep at minimum wage. you are what is giving immigrants a bad name, if you truly want to help them you can, simply shut up, because every time you open your mouth you spit stupidity out. |

What is wrong with LEGAL Immigrants? Just for the record, I would rather see a LEGAL high school kid have the job. This way, he/she gains experience to take into life when school is finished and starts learning what life is all about. This being a LEGAL child, taxes are paid and the strain on the welfare system is reduced. |

What I don't understand is why do they come in the first place.
If the US government changes the law and the illigals are impacted negatively, then why do they bi*ch about the US government?
I think they should b*tch about the government that they abandonded in the first place before anything.
As for wanting to see the lazy Americans work on farm, well that's a different story isn't it? I'm sure if it came down to it people work on farms. Or they'll come up with another solution to work it out.
See that's the problem.
We should all try to fix OUR OWN problems we have in OUR OWN countries before giving up and leaving. |

Immigrants are not the ones at the bottom of the class society in this country. There are plenty of LEGAL immigrants who work their way up just like anyone can here. They do it by following the rules necessary to become a citizen. You can be successful by playing it straight.
Also, what you don't realize is that countries like Mexico have an even stricter class system, and are sending their throwaway citizens here on purpose. And with Vicente Fox's palling around with Dubya, it's not likely to end too soon. Since Bush took office, illegal immigration has gone up 87%. And if that number doesn't tell you anything, you're even dumber than I thought, Bunt. |

then let it die
Why should I allow only the rich growers to make a profit off my tax dollars to support and encourage more illegal immigration
I suppose you didn't know that McCain's call for Americans to pick crops resulted in 3,000 applications so far did you
All lies in that article, a false predicament to keep us where we are
then let them all go out of business then I sure as hell don't care and most of our food is imported anyway |

How good of an argument do you think you are for legalization, Bunt?
And did you see my last question? I thought it would make you happy. |

Don't flatter yourself. Your question is more applicable to the illegal aliens - why are you against those who feed YOU! |

I don't agree with you. I am from Alabama and there are cotton farms there. That is what my family did for a living. Get your facts straight. |

You said "ALWAYS agreed to work for less than those who are settled here".
And you find that fair? Essentially, you're saying it's ok to exploit illegal immigrants.
You said "since you Americans never start from the bottom, you will never work at a farm. "
You can not be serious with this statement. It's so flawed as to be laughable. I've worked on farms, myself.
You said "Isn't having a baby totally irrational in today's world?
Yes, you will satisfy your ego by creating a new life, but what about your innocent child? "
But that was a different question |

i'm not against them, i grew up in a rural area and seen first hand what hard working great people, mexicans, are i would never hesitate to help them and even though i live in a city now about a 5th of my grocery that i buy is fresh produce. i support them and everybody should add more produce to ur grocery list, u don't really understand how important they are unless u have lived and worked on a farm/ranch. EVERYBODY SHOW SUPPORT FOR OUR HARD WORKING FARMER & RANCHER!!!!!! |

E coli spinach came from American farms. Guess that makes you part of the guilty party Daisy. Maybe we shoud deport you huh?
Btw step up people, fill those jobs picking produce. So much talk so now lets see the masses fill those openings.
If you live in Canada Daisy why are you offering your worthless words of wisdom? As many people say here, worry about your own country. |
