New Orleans didn't need rebuilding by illegals. Employers just took advantage of cheap labor, same as they are doing all over the country. These employers are traitors and scum bags. Their day will come.

Well I guess that's news to all the citizens that were out there everyday working.

What about all the locals that could have used those jobs in their time of need? In my opinion greedy contractors should have hired locally unless they could not get enough builders then hired citizens from other area's.

Native blacks were working those jobs until they brought them in. Did you realize THAT? Now, having had their houses destroyed they also have lost their jobs. Also their hospitals are facing huge strain from the waves of births by the illegal workers.

You can look it up. This is a very bad argument from the perspective of an American citizen, rather than the business owner.

So only illegals are doing anything to rebuild New Orleans after Katrina? What are you basing that statement on? There probably are some down there, but there are a multitude of companies, individuals, and charitable organizations down there working together.

That just not true I have a friend who had their home rebuilt andthere were no Mexicans working on her house. She is moving in next week. She had whites and blacks doing her work. It seems like if they are working in New oleans so does other groups so thats not a good example because americans will do those jobs.

That is a bunch of BS. There were AMERICANS who were rebuilding NO until two weeks after Katrina because the illegal aliens got there. The AMERICANS wanted to work, and because the illegal aliens were paid under the table the AMERICANS lost their jobs.

News flash for you Gidget. There were many more AMERICANS there than you apparently are aware of. Habitat for Humanity groups from all over the country showed up and helped build a ton of houses. I should know...My wife and I spent a month there along with a helluva lot of other AMERICAN volunteers. I will assume by your 'question" you have never been there and certainly weren't there during the early rebuilding stage.

Ehh? My uncle is a resident and he went down there to help with the rebuilding and no he is no illegal, but he did say there were a few there that he met...safe to say it's like any other business, some will hire them so won't.

It's not jobs Americans won't do, its just that the illegals will work for nothing because its better than what they can get in their native countries. What illegals don't realize, or don't care to realize that they are tearing down the middle-class in this country and left unchecked, will make our economic classes very comparable to Mexico's. Where will they go then?

I remember reading one story that I cannot find now of a Woman who owns a labor company in Texas. She sent three van loads of mainly African-American workers to New Orleans to fill good paying reconstruction jobs. They came back after a month or two and told her the 'Mexicans' showed up and undercut them on wages.

So illegals out to stop the lowering of living wages for AMERICAN workers.

This is NOT an example of jobs Americans won't do.
Don't even think of trying to insinuate that everybody that rebuilt N.O. was an illegal alien. I WAS THERE as was many of my family members and NONE of us are illegal aliens.

I had many family members that lost everything they own, so don't pass even think about passing judgment on us.

Don't try to use other people's misfortune to pass your own agenda when you don't have your facts straight.

P.S. At the end of the day they are STILL illegal aliens and must be deported.
