International law, land mines are outlawed under that, then again when has America gone along with international law. East Germany had some on the border years and years ago. I for one met one German lad who lost his family crossing that border. so are you for one moment saying that moving from one nation to another should have the risk of death and at least injury been the result. Land mines did not stop people wanting to cross, and today the risk of crocodiles does not stop men women and children trying to get out of Zimbabwe. people always want to move. i am sure there are Americans who would love when they have some money move to another part of the world and be like the British retire to a sunny beach. |

We should put a wall up, and land mines. Illegal immigration should be dealt with like other countries.
Illegal immigrants bring diseases in, don't pay taxes, cause economy problems, cause our taxes to go higher, health care and hospital bills being driven up. Crime is high cause they know if they get caught, they just get sent back, only to sneak in again.
There is no excuses for it. Our ancestors came into the country LEGALLY, got proper vaccinations, were made to learn the english language, paid taxes, held legal jobs, and paid their bills.
If Americans snuck into Mexico illegally, what do you think would happen? Do you think the Mexican Government would supply free health care, welfare, etc??? No. You would rot in one of their dirt floor prisons until your family came up with enough money to buy your freedom back from the Mexican government. |

No but you can put scarecrows. Why not try to use psychological techniques to put fear into the people south of the border. A lot of the people coming north have low educations and believe in superstition. Fill the border with ghosts. It is halloween. Just create a few stories of sightings and some border crossers might change their minds. Not all but some. |
