Why do Mexicans have free roam in the U.S.but when Haitians come here they are sent back ASAP, no questions!?

Because the US Coast Guard does it's job unlike our Border Patrols- however I do feel a little worse for the Haitians because of the Hurricanes -especially when they are as poor as they are

I'd disagree with a few things/add a few things:

Congress didn't "inadvertently" cause an immigration boom with the change in the law. When Kennedy (who spearheaded the law with the help of Latino lawyers) it was a power play that the Republicans welcomed for short term, low-cost labor gains, but didn't see (or care) about the long term effect. It was calculated, intentional greed (for votes/money or cheap labor) by both sides who were willing to sell out America. Latino groups are blameless; they wanted what every group wants (more political power) and they were the clear winner.

Democrats got what they wanted. The original law for hundreds of years was a per-area-of-the-world quotas that said, "If you are willing to give up everything in your life for a chance to start over and make a new one, please come." Giving everything (and everyone you knew) up was a control feature or filter for the the type of immigrant. The new law put "if you have even an extended family member, go to the head of the line" as it's focus. This benefited large, extended families that lived nearby. In other words: Mexicans and to some extent Central/South America (cheap labor--and an exponentially expanding group) who are traditionally Roman Catholics (like Kennedy) and vote Democrat (Kennedy's party).
Republicans sold their souls for a few dollars. The most popular states became overwhelmed with Latinos, who vote (except Cubans) Democratic. Florida, New York, Illinois all went from Republican to Democrat. Even California was once solidly Republican.
Republicans are now trying to figure out what to do when--not if--Texas goes Democrat. Add up the numbers--once the most populous states are overwhelmed with illegal immigrants, who have traditionally large numbers of children that vote Democrat--it will be virtually impossible for a Republican president or majority senate/congress to ever exist again. The deal with the devil is complete. Where illegals go, they vote for their friends, the Democrats. And the same businesses that backed the cheap labor, will then find them selves facing much higher tax rates and labor costs.
But don't worry--the companies will move overseas to countries with cheaper labor. That will destroy our tax base, but the companies will survive. As we continue to bankrupt ourselves into a 3rd world nation, they might even come back some day!

So you want employees that work long hours, weekends, and holidays for low pay? Do you pay overtime for all those extra hours?, probably not. That's the good thing about being an American I guess, I walk off jobs with bosses like you.

Politicts, economics, international relationships, raw materials coming from Mexico, ship labor, next door neighbors, more than 20 million Mexicans in USA who rely on each other for communication,Their market is 33 billion dollars. Don't forget almost half of United States used to belong to Mexico. You are probably standing on soil they consider to be theirs.
Whatever action USA takes has to be carefully planed, for it affects it's neighbors directly and you don't want a massive immigration if thins go real bad south the border. Remember that for every action there is an equal opposite reaction. What you do could end up affecting you.

Well unfortunately Mexico is part of the planned North American Union so they will be further allowed to move through out the US like Canadians already do. I doubt Haiti will ever be allowed membership so illegal Hatians will continue to be sent home as soon as INS finds out

And the bill would make it a heck of a lot more like that. I can't tell you how many provisions include the language 'aliens from noncontiguous countries', and I kind of doubt they are really thinking of the Canadians.

I would have to say that Mexicans have been familiar with the land for so long therefore who better than Mexicans to roam freely in the land that is their backyard?

As for Haitians, it would take too much money to bring them here for a busting as* job that only would cover the taxes....

For starters, Haitians don't have 1,000,000 plus people coming into the US every year. They come over 30-40 at a time on a boat. It is easy to turn them away, because we aren't being overwhelmed by them. Second, they are way more prone to have a lot more diseases than most other illegal immigrants. So it's not safe having them here.

Aren't you generalizing a bit? Its like me saying, gee, my neighbors are Gringos, and all Gringos are are lazy....They all have beer belly's and talk on their ham radio all night....That would be silly.....Don't assume an entire culture, based on a few....

And if these Haitian's are truly legal and being sent back home, that is violation of there human rights....I don't believe you anyways....

I am really sorry you have had not very good experience with Mexican workers. You mentioned that you hire legal workers, but are interested why Haitians are sent back ASAP. If they are sent back then they are not legally in this country. A great deal of Mexicans that are illegally are sent back as well.
You should be lucky they do not learn English, though. It seems like you want slave workers and if they learn their rights you might be in trouble, specially now that the minimum wage is going up. Just to satisfy your curiosity...I am NOT Mexican.

People say cheap labor reasons and it isn't cheap at all....The majority of Mexicans intend on changing the face of America.. Unfortunately many are hostile and they fight for their demands and win over and over again.. Come to California where Spanish is mandatory..You have to have at least 2 years of it in the high schools to graduate....

It doesn't seem to matter enough to our gov that there are more opposed to the Hispanic immigration troubles and it's only going to come back to bite us as the authorities continue to be unscathed....Kennedy actually went as far to say they are part of the backbone of America!Maybe the legal Hispanics that have been here for a long time are contributors ...Illegals contribute little except for putting veggies on our tables ..If they weren't here there's always somebody else that will do the job. Back in the 60's 70's and early 80's they weren't the only ones out in the fields pickin! They get most of their holidays off here in Cali now and are pushing for an extended Christmas holiday as well we now get 3 weeks off so they can travel back to Mexico...

If Haitians have less demands and better work ethics but Mexicans are favored I would call it a growing double standard and racism....

I am afraid The Great America has lost the balance it once had and there's no peace where there's imbalance.....

Good point. When you here illegal immigrants, you automatically think of mexicans. And there is a good reason. They come here, don't want to learn the language, don't want to follow the laws of our country, don't want to pay taxes, want the benefits of our social programs?? I swear, this is a huge problem. But there is something going on between Bush and mexico. I feel there is a secret agreement and agenda going on which I really can't figure out. Other immigrants are rounded up and sent back home, but with mexican illegals, some are given a free pass. Heck, they even charge the border patrol agents and put them in jail instead of the illegals they are going after. We need to stand up and support the united states. If this bill or any other bill of amnesty passes, this country will be in trouble. We are in trouble now, but we don't need any new laws or legislation. Just follow and enforce the laws we have now. I am so sick of having to cater to the illegals.. I have no problems with people coming to this country legally to make a better life for themselves. Heck we are a country of immigrants. But do it legally and assimulate to the usa.
