It's not because they are racist, it's because they are ignorant in general. It's not their fault by the way. It's probably the media misinforming everyone to mislead the American voters.

Any illegal immigrant knows that he/she will eventually have to pay for their own emergency room, for example. My illegal neighbor it's still paying $24,000 for an appendectomy for his child because he doesn't qualify for health insurance. What Welfare? that's for legal citizens.

Interesting question. While I will agree that many immigrants, legal and illegal, work very hard and do not take advantage of the system, there's one key word in this sentence... ILLEGAL!!! Since when has that word lost it's negativeity? Look, no hospital can turn down a patient in need of emergency care. So "Paco Gomez" comes in to a hospital after an accident and will never have to pay that bill ,because his fake ID says "Richard Hertz" so John Q. Taxpayer fits the bill. Oh, yeah, taxes. Most jobs paid under the table are worked by illegal immigrants. Why? because they are illegal... I wonder how Mexicans (who I believe are wonderfull people, I'm just sick of people sticking up for ILLEGAL aliens) would feel if hordes of Americans swarmed into Mexico, took jobs, used the system, and chose to speak English instead of their native toungue. Oh wait, that's called Cancun.

I am not a racist american however I am an american working in the health field. They do receive many free benifits payed for by the
tax payers. They go to free clinics and receive free drugs. That I
know for a fact. You don't need any identification or have to speak
english to get either! Also there is a little unknown law that if
you know someone is illegal you are not allowed to ask them and
turn them down for services. A stupid law seeing they however are
illegal. So yes, they they do receive some sort of "welfare" on
our tax paying dollars! I've seen it and even given free healthcare!

because racist americans have nothing better to do than to look down on other people. its sad how many racist americans there are. i cant stand it, i see way too many people on here being offensive. last night there was even someone talking about cannabalism, like, eating a certain race of people. it boils my blood to see this stuff. people need to realize we are all just people, we cant control what we look like, and that we all have the same emotions. we are killed with the same weapons, smile at the same acts of kindness, and enlightened by the same knowledge. In Illinois, an illegal can recieve a 3% mortgage, guaranteed. My dad can't even get a 7%. They get all the free surgery, schooling, and if they crash into my car (I know, I don't have one, but generally speaking), MY insurance company pays for it. What the fu<k?

And who cares what kind of citizen gets welfare? Sure, it's not fair, but is it fair that an illegal can come and mooch off of our government?

they use taxpayers dollars sending their kids to our public schools and colleges and they DO GET WELFARE and FOODSTAMPS. They also can qualify for Medicare and Medicade. Do the research.

Check your facts. Being opposed to illegal immigration doesnt make you a racist. I am 100% for the immediate exportation of all "illegal" immigrants in the U.S. and my wife is from Chile. She came to America through legal channels and had her permanent residency BEFORE we were married.

Besides, your wrong about being a citizen for aid as well. Illegals affect our schools, our health care etc etc. All of which we end up paying for through our taxes.

This is America. I dont care where you come from but do it LEGALLY and embrace OUR culture. If I moved to Mexico, should I expect everyone there to speak to me in English? Would it be okay if I flew the American flag while I live in Mexico?

"Why do all honest hard working Americans get angry when illeglas recieve welfare for sitting on thier ***?"
Why? I'll give you an example.
My father is 65 yrs old and has worked so hard for everything he owns. He sold cars, and every nice thing he owned when I was young to see that I went to the county fair or to see that I had that new CD I wanted so badly. He pays his taxes every year and now he is on disability and SS. My mother raised 5 kids and did an amazing job with all of us. She too is now disabled and on SS. Do you know how much he and my mother get a month? Less than $1,000 and thier bills come up to more than $1,300! The "Beeners" that live down the road get 2x that amount and are not disabled and have fewer kids! Fair? I think not!
And one more example.
I am 8 months pregnant, and I am about to lose my apartment. I go into the welfare office to ask for some help. They tell me to take a seat. While I am in there, 2 "Beeners" come in and have a seat as well. Not only do they get called in and they leave before me, I see them come out with food stamps and an automatic acception letter for HUD!!! And HUD told me I would have to be on a list for 2 freakin years!

Next time, ask around, do some research before you make yourself look like a complete fool!

You are correct. Undocumented workers do not receive housing foodstamps or cash aid. I personally know someone who works for social services. If they have children that are born here then they can collect for their children. They receive a prorated amount of food stamps for that one individual not for themselves. If they are americans why shouldnt they be able to? Also, 99% of the undocumented people do in fact work, they just make very little money so they need assistance from time to time. As far as welfare recipients its, American citizens are the ones who are lazy, dont want to work and have the worst attitude. Trust me, they are the ones more likely to abuse the system.

are you really that naive? illegals get all kinds of benefits, they have a dozen brats and they all get benefits, its really sad. They are one reason the health care in this country is so over priced, the jail systems are so crowded, schools in such horrible shape, etc etc. All this so that we can get some fruit and vegetable picked for a couple pennies cheaper, and our lawns mowed for a couple bucks less. big deal id rather pay a high school kid any day of the week.

There is too many controversies about this issue. Many people in the United States acuse the illegal immigrant community of abusing of the welfare system.

Immigrants contribute 7 billion in social security per year. they earn 240 billion, report 90 billion, and only are reimbursed 5 billion, "where are the 85 billion?" They also contribute to the U.S. economy 25 billion more than they receive in healthcare, etc., etc., etc. According to the anti-immigrant politicians and hatemongers, "immigrants are a drain on society."

You are incorrect, actually. To enroll in a public school all the family has to show is the live in the attendance area. The kids can receive a free education and supplies. The kids can also receive free lunch without having to prove any sort of citizenship. Families can receive free food from local food banks, too. Diapers and formula are also avaioable that way. And, any illegal alien can go to any emergency room and receive care. Citizenship is not an issue.

Who pays when an illegal immigrant goes to the emergency room to deliver a baby? Or is there because of an automobile accident? They aren't turned away... you and I pay for their medical expenses, except that it's probably just me since you probably don't have a job or pay taxes.

Umm, a lot of them have this 'evidence', mind you it is fake.

It isn't just welfare, the most expensive services are education and health care such as prenatal services and deliveries. Poor people, even if they pay all taxes, only pay a fraction of the cost of the services they use. That is why our laws do, and should, limit how many can come, to protect those services from having their funds drained by foreigners.

Illegals cost $113 billion of US taxpayer money yearly. In California alone, illegals cost $10.5 billion yearly. They also account for 2.8 million in jobs. They received the earned income credit and the child tax credit. Yep, the IRS is issuing tax ids to illegals. They can get housing, foodstamps, welfare, medical, social security and education. In addition to this they are also able to get licenses for hunting, fishing, driver's, and also a passport. HR 3963 states that all they need is a SS# and name (these they borrow from unknowing Americans), which are not checked. It requires no documentation of citizenship. By law an illegal immigrant shall not recieve benefits, although sneaking over the border having child is ok, or sending pregnant women from middle east is ok and it's ok to use stolen SS#. If there is 1 citizen in household, it's ok. By the way, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services limits the circumstances to report illegals. Thus, many illegals are not reported and continue unchecked. Obama has ideas to make it easier for them.
