because some americans are racist a**holes. and our country seems to think its superior to everyone, and is also paranoid about immigration, and seems to direct a lot of this paranoia to mexicans immigrating to america.
its completely wrong though. no one should judge an entire ethnicity by some few individuals. we've seen this happen so many times (on the recent side (well somewhat) 9/11) but people keep doing it! its immature, idiotic, and racist!

just for the record (although i know you didn't say all americans) i just have to say: hello,i'm an american and i do NOT hate mexicans (lol it sounds like an AA meeting... my name is blank and im an alcoholic..)

I think it has more to do with the fact that for the most part mexicans are here illegally, and since illegal immigrants dont have social security cards or other types of paper work needed to get good paying jobs, they have to work at very low paying jobs, in turn means they cant pay for doctor bills, car insurance, ect... so when they get sick and run up a huge doctor bill, the average american tax payer (thats already paying high premiums for health insurance for their family already) picks up their slack as well, and when they get in a car wreck with someone that does have a drivers liscense and insurance, that person has to pay for it all...

I don't hate all mexicans. I have however, lost all respect for them. Between the pandering of our own politicians to the whiners who come to "do the jobs Americans" are losing due to the pitiful wages and 5 months of taxes because of the illegal alien criminal invasion and the insane rates of raping and pillaging, I think we have every right to be angry and demand our taxation produce some REAL representation. Don't even try the race card with me. I have plenty of friends who are Latino or Hispanic, just not Mexican. I also have Black, American Indian, and Hmong friends.

Every person that has come from another country, believed in the United States strongly enough, they were proud to follow our traditions and learn our language.
They did not marry the women just to get a visa. They earned and worked hard for their freedom.

As far as hating Mexicans there are only 2 that I hate. The 1st that Hit and Ran killing a 8 yr old boy. Coward enough to go back into Mexico.
The 2nd The S.O.B that Married my Niece, waited until she was pregnant to hit her hard enough, to put her into a comma for 7 1/2 months., until after the baby was born . She finally came out of it, 7 months of rehab, she only half the person she was, and my Sister is raising the child. who is now 4 years old.

We don't like it when Mexicans come over the border illegally and obtain assistance, get social security,section 8 housing ect, etc,. There is a reason why the American government only allows a certain amount of people in per year. Illegal immigration is tapping out our resources. Hospitals in California are having to shutdown. Gas prices are through the roof...if we deported most of the illegals our gas prices would go down just simple supply and demand here folks.

I'm 1/2 mexican and I am pretty tough on them...especially those that dress up like gangbangers..then there are the illegals who come here and trash the neighborhood like some downtrotten villiage they're from...and lets not forget the ones that work and have kids and the kids get to collect cash aid along with any money thats not reported because they do not have to or lie about how many are living in a household.
Yes I am highly critical of those mexicans..especially since my Great grandmother came here and assimilated into the American... culture the way it should be.

We don't hate Mexicans, it's just that we feel they are taking away jobs that our out- of- work husbands could and would take.

I don't know that it is exactly hate Mexicans, but hate the way our immigration laws are not in forced and sometimes anger comes out as if it sounds like Americans hate Mexicans.

Our borders certainly do need to be shored up better but Mexico is a valuable neighbor to us as is Canada and the U.S. needs to keep its friends.

Most of us do not hate mexicans. We just hate when Illegals come to the country. They will nomrmaly get paid under the table and get no benefits. Than when they do get sick or go to the hospital the bill gets passed on to us the legal citizens with increased cost in health.

Also the illegals can not really get out of the poverty level, because no one will represent them.

~If you are referring to Mexicans who live in Mexico, I don't know any Americans who hate them. I know Americans who lived in Mexico for several years and they had a lot of good things to say about their experiences with most of the Mexicans they met.

If you are talking about American citizens born in Mexico or of Mexican heritage living in America, I think, at least I hope, that most Americans would judge them as they do any other Americans -- from personal experience and not by stereotype.

Human beings tend to judge others based on their own value system, cultural background and personal experiences. The Mexican-Americans I've known had values and cultural backgrounds similar to mine. They were hard working, family-oriented people who valued education and achievement and showed great hospitality and kindness to friends and visitors alike.

I don't know anyone who likes the Mexican gangs and drug dealers (nor anyone who likes the white, black, Asian or any other gangs or drug dealers).

If you are talking about Mexicans who are in the U.S. illegally, that's a real touchy issue. Those Mexicans who are working in this country illegally (for lower pay and under worse working conditions than Americans would tolerate), would not be able to do so if American employers and American unions were not so greedy. I know I'm not willing to pick lettuce for chump change or work 12 hours in some sweatshop. However, many Americans resent that illegals are getting benefits from the system that many Americans can't get but have to pay for through their taxes.

Don't assume that because some people rant on about Mexicans or any other group, that all Americans feel the same way. There are ranters and ravers in all countries but they usually don't represent the majority.

Simple, illiterate people used to be able to get a job in the 60's and 70's. A good job, with pay that you could afford a house. Now they can't and they blame it on Mexicans.

I would need to see Mr. Beck's show to understand what you are talking about there . . . he's not ever struck me as hateful.

The majority of the US citizenry is fed-up with the effect caused by illegal immigration, and the lack of Mexico's effort to stabilize it's own country.

There is also a strong dislike for demonstrations of hate against the US, of which those demonstrating want to be part of . . . not a good way to make others happy you're here.

And let's not forget the faction that suggests that most of the western US actually belongs to Mexico and those here illegally. Naturally not thinking that adding to Mexico's land wouldn't change the issues that caused them to leave in the first place.

What would happen if Mexicans stood up in mass protest in Mexico? Why does the US have to change to accommodate a people unwilling to abide our laws, and unwilling to work to change their own nation?

I live in So-Cal the latino capitol of North America. And let me tell you that you people have an average of 3.4 kids per women( usually before 21). And the women usually don't work cause she takes care of her kids and the dad works alot so they have no father in their life. We'll Take a small town like El Camino with a starting pop 1000 with 800 mexicants and look what happens in 5 yrs. Three things happen 800(400 women)X3.5= 1000 kids within 5 yrs. $300 per kid for food stamps 1000x300=$30,000+ $250 per kid General Relief Program= $10,000 200/400 lie on umeployment benfites= $30,00 H.U.D(housing) 200 families= $25,000 Total 95Kx5=$475,000 from CA GOVERMENT and more then doubled the small pop. in 5 yrs. Kids have no dads and becomes a juvenile deliquent, wastes money from Cali/federall for putting a mexicant in middle school and high school then the mexicant goes to jail and then waists more money. They have no morales and or no self esteem. You are the reaspm California is doing bad, we we'rent when we had less of you.
