Hey mick, we have 12 million illegal mexicans that you can have because we sure the hell don't want them.
Yeah, our economy would be better off because these people don't pay for education, health care, social services, and many times income tax. They also send 10 billion dollars each year back to mexico. This has become mexicos 2nd largest source of revenue and it's money we will never see again.
So, if you would get your **** out of that bloody pub once in a while, and read a newspaper, you would know why we are whining.

The people of the USA are generally morons. They complain about the mexicans but the real threat has been the Chinese. America is being wiped out by China. Consumer goods are almost all chinese, and just about every job that americans do is being exported to the communists.

Americans are a funny lot. They hate mexicans because americans don't want to learn another language and many of them can't even speak english well themselves.

Everywhere has illegal immigrants, but i do think that the US has a greater number of them simply because the country is bigger and is directly attatched to Mexico. As far as I'm concerned, they are just fine here, and they fill an important part of our society. We even hired illegal immigrants to help build our house--they are all just looking to support their families and they are nice people. No need to try and kick them out!

we dont.... our country was populated by immigrants... but enough is enough. Almost every other country has a checks and balances system for knowing where every one is from. Ever travel in Europe without a passport.

Because they're ignorant, we also have immigrants here (England). I know that because immigrants are coming here, more English people are going to Spain and so the Spanish are getting annoyed with the English also Moroccans are invading Spain too.

The immigrants that come here are given grants (not loans) and they have built houses especially for them, fully furnished, whereas people who were born in England can have a wait of upto 3 years for an unfurnished house and then they get a loan (not a grant) for furniture.

We also now have ESL (English as a second language) courses for foreigners and we're slowly losing our culture, we can't have Xmas any more it's winter holidays, the foreigners want their religious holidays off work plus christian holidays, if they want their religion they should work Xmas, Easter etc.

Because many of them are ignorant, think their country IS the whole world and have no idea that other people have the same problems. I am getting a bit fed up with all the Americans complaining about Mexicans. All I can say to that is, they live on the same continent. It's like me going to Scotland(from England), I wouldn't even call them immigrants. Americans think it's such a problem. America is huge and is being "flooded" with immigrants from other parts of the American continents. I'd say the illegal immigrants getting from Asia to Britain are a bigger problem.

American's don't think that we are the only ones with an illegal immigrant problem. We are just trying to deal with a problem that has grown to astronomical proportions, if that wasn't the case do you honestly think that you would have heard about it in Ireland?

When a person enters a country by crossing a border in the dead of night so as not to be caught doing so, they are breaking the laws of the land that they are entering. We have in place immigration laws, which are to be followed. The illegal immigrants scream for equal rights, but why should they be granted these rights when they have broken the law to get here? They are insistant of American's learning spanish, why? They are in our country, if this is where they want to be, they should be speaking our language...American English, not forcing our children to learn theirs! They should not be taking OUR National Anthem and translating it into spanish. It was written in english, learn to sing it in english!

Our request is simple really, if you want to live in America, please follow the process for entering this country legally, learn our language, speak our language in public and give your new country the loyalty and alliegence that it deserves for giving you the refuge that you sought.

honestly we KNOW about other contries with some form of aliens in it, but we have our OWN problems. We cant help other people with a problem WE cant solve, and OURS come in by the THOUSANDS

We don't think that we are the ONLY country that has illegal immigrants. We think we are the ONLY country with a hell of a lot of illegal immigrants.
Besides that, we're self centered. The world seems to revolve around the united states.

Why do you ASSUME that Americans think they're the only country with illegal immigrants? Obviously we are not since other countries will jail illegals so obviously there would have to be illegals in order for them to jail them. What you do with your illegals in Ireland is your business.

Of course we'd be better off without the over 11 million illegal Mexican immigrant leeches stealing or jobs and welfare. Then American citizens will be able to find work for more than minimum wage. Minimum wage in this country will not even pay for basic necessities. The United States is on the road to becoming a 3rd world country.

We are not the only country that has illegal immigrants. Just because Ireland isn't trying to prevent it, doesn't mean we can't. The United States has to enforce its laws or that will undermine the entire judicial system we have here. If Congress would prefer to change the law and decriminalize "illegal" immigration, then that is an entirely different story. Nobody is above the law including illegal immigrants. I have no problem with them being here, but they are breaking U.S. laws and that is unacceptable. If we (as citizens) are to be held to these laws, so are they!! Illegal immigrants of different countries are EQUAL human beings as U.S. citizens, NOT SUPERIOR! We should both be held to the same standards, so they cannot break the laws just like I can't.

Thats because your borders aren't being flooded by the million each year. I am sorry but I live in Arizona which is right on the mexican border, I see all the crap that goes on first hand in my city and I watch as they stand in hordes on street corners, waiting for people to give them work and making it so me and my children can't get out of our car for fear of being hurt...

we whine...lol, and its legitimate. they're tearing down the very system we have built. a long time ago you guys came over here to escape the living conditions in Ireland. and we treated you guys like **** too. but now we love you because you're hard workers and made a name for yourselves and asked for little in return. now Irish heritage is a big part of the building of America. we can't say the same for many of the illegal immigrants flooding our borders now. they work hard if you make them. if you didn't they would slack and leach of the government for as long as they could.

We let's see...Do you have 12 million illegal immigrants in your country? Do the illegal immigrants in your country drain the public assistance programs? Do you build schools, hire teachers, and purchase text books all in the native language of these illegal immigrants? I bet you don't.

No, but we are the country with the BIGGEST problem. American society is bring drained by leeches. Worse yet, our government is too preoccupied by other issues instead of dealing with a critical domestic issue.

It isn't a matter of thinking we are the only ones. It is that we get so many!! We have a lot of immigrants coming here from all over that follow a legal process to be here, and then the illegals come here and expect the same rights and then some! Top that off with the fact that they are managing to get welfare and other public assistance, please don't even try to tell me they can't because it is happening right next door to me. They add more gangs to an already burgeoning problem, take up jobs for less money than the legal wages state--then claim they are doing the jobs that Americans wouldn't do.

The illegal immigrants thing is bigger than America and Mexicans, if they can run across the border--so can Al-Qaida terrorists. ***BTW, did your country get attacked on it's own soil on 9-11?

We don't think that we are the only 1's with illegal immigrants, but it is a much larger problem here than anywhere else. Yes, our economy would be better off because here illegals are day laborers that take the jobs from legal immigrants and citizens. We had a strike from the illegals and it did not have that large of an impact on our economy. For every illegal, there is another legal/citizen that is homeless/jobless/insurance less. Poverty is huge in this country and if we didn't have to fight with illegals then those funds could go to help real citizens of this country.

The fact is, Americans think they are so important.
We still don't use the metric system.
We are the first to complain on everything. I for one complain now because a new law says that illegals can draw from social security. More old people I have to pay for.
