Why do liberal claim the every white Briton is an immigrant. DNA evidence shows other wise?

No I didn't, but it is cobblers anyway. It is just another attempt to muddy the waters and laugh off the present influx of people from very different nations. We have never ever, had such a colossal importation of people as we have now, and the native races of Britain are doomed, even if all immigration was stopped 100% tomorrow. In many cities the immigrants are rapidly becoming the majority. If you don't understand that then you must be blind. By the end of this century the white Anglo-Saxon, Scot, or Welshman will be well in the minority and hated and despised by the remainder of the population. Couple this with deforestation, rising sea levels which, remember, will also flood up all the rivers, the complete destruction of our few remaining factories and the collapse of our entire infrastructure due to poverty and incompetence, and the 22nd century will be pretty dire. I have seen the future and it is brown.

So according to that book there will be 20% variability from other races. Considering that human DNA is only 2% different from that of a chimpanzee, I think that leaves plenty of scope for a bit of variety.

Aren't humans widely agreed to have originated from Africa anyway?

Well, as a very liberal liberal I've never said that but what I have said Britain is a nation that is made up of lots of different races and parts of Europe, we have had invasions and mass immigrations so we're not exactly a very "pure" nation. Also I did see a tv programme where they analysed the DNA of people who claimed to be "pure" Britains and found african dna, asian dna etc.

the Saxons, Romans, Vikings, Normans, may have been in britain for a few thousand years but they arrived after the celts and pict's which are Britain's original inhabitants which makes them immigrants ( as apposed to colonisers as the original people would have been)

There was no one living on the island that is now Great Britain during the Ice Age, it was covered in ice, those pesky immigrants didn't turn up until the ice had retreated & they could take advantage.

Of course the British have their own bloodline. For god sakes, they have been living on the same damn island for thousands of years. Mass immigration into the UK is a very recent thing. The British have their own bloodline....It is kind of strange when I think about it. I'm second generation American but both sides of my family are Irish. So, in a biological sense, my father and I are the first people in the history of our bloodline to born outside of Irish borders. Wow. I never thought of that....eerie.

Well if you're a white Briton living in the UK and you/your family does not come from other parts of Europe then you certainly are not an immigrant. You have a high likelyhood of being Saxon or something like that, though. Or you could just be part of the 80% that came around the ice age.

I dunno, some people just want arsenal for their one up game or maybe they just got tired of hearing "if you dont like it, go home" and want to come up with a come back.

We claim that we are a nation of immigrants, because we are. You do not need large changes in DNA to alter a genetic phenotype, as much of it is redundant. According to the article, as someone else has pointed out, there is around 20% genetic diversity in Britain - plenty to work with.

Celtic people's genetic make up is made up of a mixture of different genes and these often combine to give a meditteranean appearance.

So Britains are a hotch-potch of different genes, from different cultures and skin colour is not a good guide to which genes you have.

I think that any argument for preferential treatment of one race at the expense of another amounts to racism and is fundamentally wrong. We are all human at the end of the day. We all inhabit the same planet. We share the same concerns - how to feed our families and have a good life.

Good article but still points to 20% of our make up coming from elsewhere. I remember an article about Toxteth which said the population had a high number of black anglo saxons. Question still worth a star.

Its a silly argument really. if you go back long enough then we where all apparently spawned by the same sludge in Africa.
The iceman walked over to UK before the channel was there. so if a lefty is going to say where all immigrants then we can come up with the equally daft response that we left europe and are not joining them again until the next ice age.
but if the British isles came to existence by rising sea levels trapping the icemen here then can we agree that they where the first Britons. and that other races arrived afterwards.
