First of all, they were not true natives either. Also, that past is behind us. We overpowered the "archaic Americans" to gain this land. We still have the power to preserve ourselves. I have no problem with people going back to their ancestral country. I support it, and intend to do so myself (legally). But for now, they are making OUR lives worse by taking our money, our jobs, our education, etc., and forcing their customs upon us. I have no desire to harbor criminals in my country.

Wrong, the Native Americans here are different from Mexicans. Mexicans are descendants of the Aztec and Maya Indians. Aside from that, they are here illegally. If they just became citizens it would not be fair to those who came here legally or those who have been waiting years for a green card.

Americans aren't going "back" anywhere. Americans are citizens of the United States. The United States is their country. Law breakers who sneak across the border are illegal and need to return to their motherland. Illegals have their own countries. The United States is NOT their country and they need to leave.

I don't know why "people" say Mexicans should go back to Mexico, because if they are Americans of Mexican ancestry they don't have to go back anywhere because they are in their country... the U.S.
But if they are illegal, then, yes, they shouldn't be here.

And you need to check your history, the greasers that are coming over here are the descendants of the Aztecs, Mayans and other indigenous peoples of the land in what is now Mexico. I personally think that if they continue to come over here illegally than they are going to ruin what America really is. A little culture does not hurt, but i think it is disrespectful if they cannot speak English while they are here in OUR country, just like it is in any other foreign speaking country. For some reason in my mind I wouldn't care if Germans or Italians came over as often as Mexicans jump the borders.
