Why do you assume that only Mexicans are the illegal aliens? There are some here in the U.S. from other countries as well. What you are referring to was the welcoming message to LEGAL IMMIGRANTS, not ILLEGAL ALIENS. There is not a world RIGHT to come and become an American citizen. If there was, we would have 7 billion people here. The system is structured to allow X number of people to come here from each country each year. I know you might find this hard to believe, but Mexico has reached its max number here (and then some!)

None of the illegals I saw demonstrating on May 1 had any yearning to be Americans...they just wanted to be mexicans and take what we have developed....they proudly displayed their flag, not ours...and this continues today with the removing of the American Flag in Southern California.

They took down our flag from in front of the post office and put up a mexican flag..

So...if you are illegal...leave with your stuff or be deported without it...I don't care which.

I personally don't hate on anybody,unless they're using me. And when I'm paying higher taxes and dealing with higher crime rates and the schools in my area are turning to crap because of illegal immigrants that's using me. And when I see people who illegally entered our country marching in the streets flying Mexican flags, burning American flags,and demanding we change our laws to suit them regardless of the effect on America that's using all of us.When it costs the state of California and TX around 20 million dollars extra each to hold an election because they have to print ballots in Spanish,even though you're supposed to be able to speak English to become a citizen,that's using us. I still don't see why this is so hard to get,if you come legally then welcome to America,if you sneak in and use us F off and get out!

then why don't you pay there way..you pay there tax's drive them around cause they don't have legal license. make sure they don't take American jobs..and don't say they don't b/c they fking do..you have them parading down your street saying they want their rights. let them let their chickens run wild next door to your house in the city..let your child be pushed to the back of the class so a illegal child that cant speak English get brought to the front of the class..let your child loose his favorite teacher because she cant speak Spanish..lets see how you feel if a neighbor raises a Mexican flag out side your window..watch the property next door to yours decline in price because the owner of the property rented to 50 Mexicans and they don't even take care of the property..and i pray to god you don't end up with ecoli from the spinach they picked ..and i pray to god that they don't steal your child's ssn...and what about all the illegals that invaded America that are sick and have terrible diseases..so you better think long and hard before you back the illegals up...

I don't "hate on mexicans." I even have a Mexican friend. I don't care what type of Religion or ethnic group you are I just like people who are nice, kind, and have respect for other people.

There is a big difference between enforcing law and hating someone. Tear down the staute of liberty because people can't get away with illegal acts? More like tear down the statue of liberty because people can no longer express opinions, rooted in fact and not hate, for fear of retaliation and slander from people like you.

I don't hate Mexicans, I have one as a brother-in-law (okay maybe him), but nobody else. I think they are fine people with good family values. I have no problem with them wanting to come to America. If I were Mexican, I would want to get out of that hell hole also. Just please do it legally.

america is made up of many ethnicities...this is a good thing...but thier are laws to follow and abide....if you are NOT a citizen you must follow the proper procedures to be here....doing so protects citizens and legal immigrants...for example...look at the increase in TB cases here in the usa.....you think this is coming from citizens and the immigrants that enter here legally?? These illegals come into the country bringing many illness and diseases....Coming legally protects us from that as they are checked for any health problems.

They DON'T get better treatment. You CAN go to the free clinic too.Problem is is that there are TOO MANY people in the world and the resources aren't well distributed or not engouh. If the economy were mainly agricultural with little trading between countries , we would be poorer. Our northern parts can't produce food all year round. They can.

I don't hate Mexicans. It's the illegals and the ones who is trying to change my country (that I fought for). And that saying is old. This country can only do so much to help. And the Mexican is taking way out of control. If I knew this was going to happen I would have never fought for America.

The majority of Mexicans are good people. Most of the people who go to work in the US are very poor and just want to feed their kids. Even if they applied for visas, they would never qualify.
They work twice as hard as any white man. I know employers in the US who prefer them because they work so hard, are more reliable, and don't make the trouble US workers do.
How anyone could hate such humble people, I don't know. It's not as if there's an unemployment problem in the States.

Three of my very close friends are Mexican – they are intelligent, contributing members of the community, and are upstanding people. I think the trouble comes when Mexicans as a group are stereotyped, based on the actions of the majority. Even my Mexican friends can’t stand most other Mexicans! How can you have any respect for them when you see them acting like ignorant slobs, carting around their 20 babies, stinking of beans, spraying graffiti on houses, and being rude to everyone they encounter. Sure, this sounds mean, but if you go anywhere where large groups of Mexicans convene, isn’t this what you see? However, the same can be said of typical “white trash” Americans, so I’m not saying that only Mexicans are guilty of this. Here is my personal pet peeve: I hate going to a store or restaurant, and being looked at like I’m insane for speaking English to one of the Mexican workers. They reply in broken English, get frustrated because they can’t understand what you’re telling them, and then screw up the transaction. I want to tell them: You’re in AMERICA, learn the language!
