Why do some people encourage and support illegal immigration?

Because most who support amnesty for illegal aliens feel that they are humans and already here. It would be impossible to deport the staggering numbers of illegals in our country if we did. Some also feel that we all should have open borders and roam freely from one country to another without identification of who anyone is.

I disagree with that. I do not support the idea of automatic amnesty for illegal aliens that broke laws. Laws are here for people to follow, without a law there would be chaos. Come here legally, I know some say, only the wealthy immigrants are entitled, that is why you can break the law if you are poor. I say that is utter BS..

I think supporters either 1) are or have family members who are illegal or want to avoid our immigration limits, or 2) are from countries who want to get rid of their own poor so they don't have to pay for them themselves or 3) perceive that they will get political power through leading larger masses and want that power.

Then there are those who aren't FOR illegal immigration but feel sorry for those who have already immigrated illegally.

Because these people who support the illegals are STUPID and have lived all their life in a box with their eyes closed and or have a little part of them that is mixed (blood wise) and cant tell the truth from a lie even if the truth (as it is now) has fallen in their stupid laps..........oh to answer your question.........one word "STUIPD" is what they are.....

Most of it stems from big business. Some very rich people would have to share a little if they paid American labor. They are the greedy, ruthless corporate ego maniacs. Then you have the bleeding heart liberals, they are just as bad or worse.

As an American and living in a super left leaning state I have seen that the people who support illegals have a financial stake in them or are just have a socialist view of how the world should function.Politicians see them as future voters who will be loyal if they manage to get them legal status,advocates live on grants and donations for supporting illegals.Some people say they take jobs Americans don't want,that is a lie.We have illegal truck drivers,roofers,construction workers,landscapers,auto mechanics,factory workers,and the list goes on.What do you do for a living? Do you not think an illegal could do it?to say that illegals take jobs Americans don't want seems to hint that illegals are uneducated this is not true,Most use stolen identity's and ruin the benefits of the person they are posing as.We don't need them as they use more in public services than they contribute to the area they reside in they do not pay taxes,get auto insurance,register there auto or have health insurance,,since you can walk into an emergency room and not be turned away due to lack of money the hard working tax payer is left with the tab for everything they use or break,

Totally agree. They can come over here and invade our towns, take jobs away from LEGAL citizens, yet everyone feels "sooo sorry" for them. I don't. Not one bit. Its the governements fault for not taking action. They are mad that women are coming over here and having babys and t hen on WIC and welfare -- but they won't change the rules...or they won't tighten down border security. We ahve more and more poorer people in the US because these illegals are taking away jobs from people that would love to have a job. I am so tired of the illegals chanting that they are doing jobs that americans won't. So, what you are saying is that you went around the US and asked EVERYONE if they wanted that job, and when we all said no, you took it. PLEASE!!! what a load of crap. We have teachers in schools that can't teach to all of his/her students because a lot of them don't even speak english!! its crazy. Become an american -- do it the right way -- do it the legal way. Otherwise get the hell out. Oh, and another favorite of all this crap is the illegals chaging the NATIONAL ANTHEM into spanish. What in the hell are you all thinking?? This country was founded on the language of English -- the most widely spoken language in the world...please, make it harder on everyone. How offensive??? If you want to stay here, but you want to change it back to your 3rd world hell hole you came from... just go back and save us the clean up process...

the us plays both sides, they do not want illegal immigrants because they are illegal but in turn they do because they are cheap labor and most times do the jobs no else wants to do. Everyone yells about how they take jobs but in reality how many of us are willing to bend down for hours at a time and pick vegetation

Because I'm not for ILLEGAL and LEGAL, I'm for RIGHT and WRONG!!!! But obviously you don't see my point. The government says it's illegal and guys like you just take it all in. Don't even give a second thought that illegals have a right to a happy life. But your discrimination won't help.

Some do it because they are hispanic and see it as a Hispanic racial issue; some do it because they consider it a "right" to be able to emigrate(It isn't; Mexico, ironically, has tougher immigration laws than ours), and some do it just because they like to be on the side of the "underdog". I'm sure there are other reasons, but I can't think of them at the moment.

There are two basic problems I have with immigration:

1. Many countries south of our border do not inoculate their citizens and so, the immigrants who come here may, or may not, bring with them diseases that could be harmful to our citizens and/or children.

2. The lack of accountability of the governments south of our border of the monies that are afforded those governments through the International Monetary Fund and block grants/interest free loans/financial aid/etc. is a concern of mine. Where is all of that money going?

Otherwise, I have no problem with people coming to America and work for their money rather than giving it to them. There is more to be said for the illegal, or undocumented, worker, rather than for the legal government/nation where those immigrants call home.

The people who encourage illegal immigration, seek to exploit illegal labor, specifically illegal laborers of Hispanic descent. Look at "who" is For illegal immigration? By that I mean political and social ideologies? "Who" is against illegal immigration? "What" is being said by; those For and those Against?
Next. Research "what" was being said by each side, 200 years ago?

Then consider this "crucial" "crucial" seriously "crucial" aspect... the mindset-desires-thought of equality, of the "people" who are the focus of the issue. Illegal Immigrants(85% Hispanic), 200 yrs ago, Slaves (blacks). Did both come by choice? No, my research tells me, one was forced, they other was not. Did or do, both believe in equality? Doesn't appear so. One believed in equality/freedom, regardless of color, fought for equality/freedom, along side others, together believing that "all men were created equal" and together won the fight. The other is protesting/arguing/demanding to be given something that is unequal. Furthermore, their "wants" don't speak for "all in question(all illegals)", rather, only the illegals of a "certain color, from certain locations, speaking a certain language".

So, one was forced to come, but believed in equality, wanted to be equal, wanted to be involved/part of the system and proved it.

The other, entered illegally by force, protested inequality, yet demanded unequal processes/treatment, don't want to be involved/part of the system, take no responsibility, use color/legal status to divide and continue to prove it.

What Ideology is fighting for equality now as it did 200 years ago?

Saying "every illegal should go back where they came from" is equal.
Saying "some illegals should go, but these illegals should stay to fill certain jobs" is bigotry and unequal.

Today nobody respects anything and you ask about law.
If you want people to stop encouraging and supporting illegal immigration, take it as legal cause and fight for it( if you are so serious about it ) and all your hard work will be richly rewarded.

Because by today's immigration laws all your grandparents will be considered illegals. Coming to this country 100 years ago was 1000 times easier than what it is now. In order to come legally, you gotta be either wealthy or have an extraordinary talent. Poor people with lack of opportunity cant come legally, even if they want. Im agree that all criminals that come here to do bad things must be cast out, but there are a lotta good people that all they want is a better life for their family. And remenber that laws are not always justice and good, cause slavery was once legal and every thing that Hitler did in Germany was legal.

I support changing the laws there are very good reasons I support the people that are here undocumented. But they are my reasons alone. You don't have to agree with them just know I have seen and known some of them personally and will support there staying here and fight for their right to do so.
