Why do the inmigrants of Eastern Europe are prefering migrate to UK and Canada than to USA?

Canada? who said that? Since 2004, most of them (specially from new EU countries) left Canada for UK. Only those who were Canadian citizens remained in Canada rest are now in UK.

No idea. We have 2 million Turks in Germany, lots of Poles, but most Poles go to UK. Maybe it is easier to get in? Also, in those countries immigrants can speak English, while in countries like France, Italy, Germany they would have to learn a third of fourth language.

According to some Romanian guys I was working with in Canada, it's because it's a lot harder to immigrate to the US. They can work illegally in the US and be worried about getting deported or they can work legally in Canada with full access to health care and the possibility to get permanent residency and citizenship fairly easily. Since some of these countries have also joined the EU, it's is very easy for them to work in any EU country, for example in the UK.

because the level of life in UK and Canada is higer than the level of life than US

you get the same money in UK working 3 hours, than in US working 8 hours

Because the UK is closer, and is part of the European Union so they have legal rights (i'm talking about Polish here btw.)

Easier to get into UK as no border controls. Have to accept people from the EU unfortunately. USA/Canada have immigration standards to meet and border controls. We don't.

UK is better than the US and also if they come to the UK they are still in Europe and not as far from their family etc.

I dont think they are allowed to go there due to US immigration laws. Thats why.

Well- right now the US is in a recession of sorts-esp. East Coast, we are losing jobs at a high rate. I do know that at the end of WWII many escaped the Nazi's to Canada also the USA and Canada (especially Canada) were getting many DP's (displaced persons) -you can research that further online. My grandpa was offered Canada when the USA and the Allies formed a treaty allowing passage to say Australia, Canada then USA. My distant Eastern European family (from Ukraine)are in Canada while my family is in the US.

Canada is more open to immigrants than the US.

In the housing complex I live in, there are at least 14 East Europeans--one who makes me think of Boris Yeltsin, one who's quite elegant (runs the health food store where I buy my vitamins), 2 stereotypical drunks, and a reputed Romani ("gypsy") who seems to be a born-again-Christian.

Because they come to Uk get all the Benefits. get a nice big house and they rob and scam people and get treated like kings by the goverment when us british get **** on by the goverment

Because the USA actually has border controls, where as we let anyone in.

That's why we're now the most densely populated country in Europe.
