You must be talking about them, it couldn't be the U.S., they are treated like "kings" compared to the way they are treated in Mexico.

MEXICO CITY, Mexico - For the past month, America's attention has been focused on the Middle East war. During that time, another 300,000 illegal aliens have crossed America's border with Mexico. But you won't believe how Mexico treats its illegal aliens.

Illegal aliens from Mexico were allowed to march through America's cities, demanding citizenship â€“ some even waved the Mexican flag. But illegal aliens inside Mexico, mostly from Guatemala and Honduras, are literally on the run.

Some travel by train and some hide, trying to stay one step ahead of the Mexican Federal Police.

The Mexican government was outraged by the movement to build a new wall on America's southern border. Mexico's Foreign Secretary Luis Ernesto Derbez went before the cameras to protest.

Derbez said, "Mexican immigrants are not felons or terrorists. They are human beings who deserve respect and the opportunity to live with dignity."

But in Mexico, when it comes to the treatment of its illegal aliens it's, â€˜Do as I say, not as I do.â€™

Mexico has called U.S. immigration policy "harsh," and has called the proposed wall on the U.S. Mexico border "shameful." But some have called the Mexican immigration policy "hypocritical."

Enter Mexico illegally and you're treated as a felon. If you're caught by the Federal Police, you'll be fortunate if you're only deported immediately. The unfortunate are robbed, abused, raped, or even murdered by corrupt police officers.

Fernando Aguilar Neri coordinates Red Cross efforts to help illegal aliens in Mexico.

â€œWhen people approach us, they are usually fearful that we work with the government and are afraid of being reported,â€ said Neri. â€œâ€¦One of the seven principles of the Red Cross is complete neutrality and independence, so we can't cooperate with the Mexican government on the illegal alien issue.â€

Neri says that most illegals moving through Mexico try to avoid the cities.

The Catholic Church also shields illegal aliens from the Mexican government. CBN found two shelters for illegals in Mexico City, but weren't allowed inside.

Most of the Central Americans inside are on their way to the United States. They'll be fortunate if they arrive unharmed.

One immigrant from El Salvador said, "If you are carrying any money, the police take the money and then say, get out of here."

"We still have 20 days of travel (to reach the United States)," another one said.

But if you're a Mexican wanting to enter the U.S. illegally, then you can count on the Mexican government's help and support. It even has a special department called Grupos Beta that helps Mexicans cross the U.S. border illegally.

But in an interview with CBN News, the head of Mexico's Immigration Service, Hipolito TreviÃ±o, denied it.

â€œGrupos Beta is the Mexican government initiative which does not help people cross the border, but they do assist them when they have problems in the border area,â€ Trevino said.

But Grupos Beta gives them a booklet, which includes tips on how to safely cross the U.S border. Trevino denied the allegation that immigrants are also given maps by the government.

â€œNo maps,â€ he said. â€œWe give them recommendations about the dangerous animals they'll encounter, how much water they need every day, what to do in case they get lost, what to do in case they get detained by the border patrol, which paths are dangerous because of crime.â€

The reason for the government's help? The cash sent home by Mexicans in the U.S. constitutes the second biggest source of foreign currency in Mexico after the oil industry. Last year that was $20 billion, or 2 percent of Mexico's GDP.

About 10 percent of Mexico's population is now living in the United States, thatâ€™s over 10 million people. And how many illegal aliens in its own country has Mexico legalized in the past five years? Just 15,000.

The Mexican government may think a new wall on the U.S. border is offensive, but critics are saying far worse things about Mexico's immigration policy.

You are narrowing the fields in which people can choose for their dislike of illegal immigration. I think taking jobs is a perfectly fine reason, I would also throw on the use of American tax dollars and the driving down of wages not to mention jumping the line in front of legal immigrants.

Some of them are gangsters, drunks, and drug users.

First generation ones are not that bad since they have a good work ethic but their kids have no work ethic and will eventually become parasites living off of government programs.

Many officers and civilains have been killed or raped by illegal gangsters or pandilleros.

Hospitals have been closed down as well due to free loaders

well first i don't feel that they are taking the jobs away ,the people here don't want those jobs. but they are bleeding our system . at our hospitals , by going to the ER for such things as kids with a fever , belly aches, etc. etc. and they don't pay, in our schools for the free lunch programs, and having to hire special teachers to teach in spanish and english, all this cost, and it comes out of our tax dollars. not to mention that in 2005 it showed that 56billion dollars was sent back to their countries for their families and not much was spent here , they work for less but are paid in cash therefor theirs nothing taken out of their pay , like taxes . in the area where i live just the schools alone are getting overcrowded and causing to hire more teachers which cost the taxpayers. and i resent this

I do not despise illegal aliens....however, this is what I do despise...

1) wage depression caused by illegals working for less money...
2) Higher taxes caused by the over burdening of our local, countty, state and federal tax base by illegals
3) theft of services by those who do not pay for what they use such medical care at hospitals, education.
4) Identity theft and stealing people's good credit.

I dont iam British and getting married to a beautiful Kenyan nurse, the hospitals would collapse without foreign nurses and doctors. what i dont like is illegal spongers that come over here and get what they can without contributing a penny my girlfreind nearly pays as much tax as me

lawless people commit crimes. so lets go over this they broke the law to enter the country, there are illegals that continue to commit crime, we pay for their incarceration, we pay to deport them, their children get an education k-12 at our expense, they use our E.R.'s as they cannot be turned away who knows who they are to bill them, they have children here which entitles them to WIC and state welfare and tanf, by taking jobs at such a low wage they force our wages down, they use our sewer system, parks, roads all of which have to be maintained and have a shelf life as to their replacement. when they do not pay taxes and all of them don't we get to pay for them to use the things we pay for in our taxes and to pay for the earlier replacement of the these things that illegals use at our expense. these are some of the things that come to mind. when you do not have a vested interest in the place you live why would you go about your life within the realm of the law. are they here under their own identity? do they use multiple identities? why would they have to use their real identity? we have no idea if they are who they claim to be. we have no way to prove who they are? all they have to do is make things up as they go along. none of the amnesties we have given or have been put forth by our government requires a background check. so why would they have to play by the rules. they sure didn't abide by our immigration laws to enter the U.S. so what's to like? remember amnesty them and the violent criminals are ours to keep. those of us that think in broader terms realize this so we will save the rest of you who stand and sing "we are the world, we are the children" from yourselves.

I don't despise them. I object to them. Taxes are higher to support them. Education suffers because they do not know the language. They have come here for a hand out, I do not feel that I owe them anything. If they want to live in America, fine-then obey the laws! If they want to collect social security, let them pay into it as I have done. Let them pay taxes as I do. English is still the official language, learn it on your own time and then you can attend our schools. You can't just move here, go on welfare and do nothing to repay your debts! If all of the US uneducated, poor people were to move to another country (Cuba or Mexico for example), they would not be welcomed in and given money to do with as they please!!! Why should we accommodate them here? Live the "American Dream", work hard, save your money and obey the laws and you will be welcomed!

That doesn't mean they aren't an economic problem nor a security problem.

Personally, I would be very happy if we built a no man's land along the southern border, with 2 tall steel reinforced concrete walls with maybe 50 yards of massive amounts of razor wire in between them.

Once we've gained control of our border and the flow of illegal aliens has gone down to a trickle, I would support a path to legalizing those already here. But not until we get control of the border FIRST!
