HI! I FEEL THE SAME WAY AS YOU DO. I AM AN AMERICAN AND I THINK THAT IT IS SO WRONG THAT SOME PEOPLE TALK BAD ABOUT MEXICANS. I WILL ADMIT AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE LAZY. I KNOW ALOT OF MEXICANS AND THEY ARE VERY HARD WORKING PEOPLE. MY HUSBAND IS MEXICAN. HE HAS BEEN HERE FOR 6 YEARS AND I HAVE LEARNED ALOT FROM HIM. MEXICANS TO ME ARE THE NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE MET. I LOVE MEXICAN PEOPLE AND I HOPE THAT THEY LET THEM ALL COME HERE. AMERICAN PEOPLE SAY THEY ARE STEELING JOBS FROM THEM, HOW CAN THEY STEAL JOBS WHEN HALF OF THEM DON'T WORK. IF IT WASN'T FOR MEXICANS HERE IN LOUISIANA WE WOULDN'T BE WHERE WE ARE. THEY HAVE BUILT UP EVERYTHING AROUND HERE SINCE HURRICANE KATRINA. THEY ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE YOU SEE WORKING. SO, I REALLY AGREE WITH YOU. SOME AMERICANS ARE SO CRUEL!!!!

Hopefully, you don't think all American's hate Mexicans. The Mexican People are good hard working people. The music from Mexico is wonderful and the people are religious, with the same family values as the American's. The small children from Mexico are so cute and I hope and pray they do not think we Hate them. My family came from Norway. They came the legal way and worked hard. Most could not speak English, but they had to learn. Any emmagrant entering in to this Great USA needs to be legal. It was the Irish emmigrants who suffered more then any other emmigrant in the History of the world. Go into the computer and read about the Potatoe Famine. The Irish were treated so badly and coming across the ocean, they were treated like cattle. . Be strong and please do not think we hate the Mexicans. Do it all the legal way !!

I totally agree with you and no I do not hate Mexicans. and ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ARE NOT CRIMINALS lets get this straight here. All my respects for all Latin's...and for all their hard work.
They are very brave and hard workers for all the work they do in this country. Its very hard labor work that not anyone can do.
Plus Mexicans know how to party it up! FOR THOSE THAT DONT AGREE ...you need to check yourself and realize how ignorant you are its ridiculous. good luck in the process too!

i like you guys but want you to be here legally. Everyone who comes here from anywhere else gets legal papers.We have people here that are legel and can not get a job and they want jobs. You want a good life get papers and expect them to pay you as well as they pay the rest of us

I don't hate Mexicans! I think they are great, warm, and hardworking people. They deserve a lot more crdit than people give them! They are also some of the kindest peole I've ever met! They're so welcoming!

The problem is that some Americans do not have prospective....They have never lived in a third world country....They only see whats in front of their nose and not what the rest of the world is like.

I married an immigrant and I had the same ideas.....Until I started traveling and seeing how other countries operate. The problem with this country, is its sense of entitlement....We feel we deserve it ALL!

I agree with you. I live in an area where there is a lot of agriculture and the only non-Latinos that I have seen working out in the fields are the owners. Other than that, no one. I give credit to all the owners that hire these people cuz they treat them well. Even though the pay is not too good, they get treated with respect, which I think is more important. I hope someday people open their eyes to their ignorance.

It isn't a matter of hating or not hating Mexicans. It's a matter of the fact that MY ancestors came here legally, through Ellis Island. MY ancestors learned English. MY ancestors didn't expect others to accommodate their language.
I expect everyone to come here legally, learn the language, melt into the culture of America (and you can do that and still maintain your culture) and work - just like my family did when they went from Romania to North Dakota and Montana over 100 years ago.

First off i am American and i have worked in the fields for 5 years straight. Harvesting, weeding and even packing... So don't say that Americans don't want those jobs... I took the job with the company to better myself and know what hard labor was... And my fellow employees were not Mexican they were white...... That is just an excuse that people use... Oh the white people don't want to do it so the Mexicans do..... I know many many white people that take pride in there job... What we are complaining about is not Mexicans in general... it is illegals in general... if you are going to do something take pride in it and come legally....Make a better future for your family but first get the required documentation and do it right.... Come with a real social security number not a fake one that is stripping some person of there benefits.....

But to answer your question. I do not hate Immigrants of any nationality. However, I do agree with sending immigrant caught crossing the boarders, and living in the States illegally home to their native countries. I understand their need and want to live a better life. The opportunities in America are abundant, and yes illegal immigration has helped America. However, illegal immigration has cause the wages to stay low. This affects poor, and working class people in this country. And as an African American it has definetly effected my community. But as I sad I have no anger towards illegals I understand why the come here. And If I was them I probably would do the same thing. My suggestion is not to throw them out or create new laws. I want the US govt. to enforce the laws we have. And also hand out more work Visa's so people don't have to come to the US illegal and they will have to pay taxes which will pay into the US system. The problems created by illegal immigaration can be seen in states like Texas, and Calif. For instance the public health system has been overwhelmed by illegals. Many health clinics have been shut down. And also hospitals are loosing more money to illegals who recieve care in the hospital but have no insurance. And it contributes to overcrowding in school systems.

On the issue of sending illegals back as being immoral you can't be serious. Everyday Haitans, Africans, and other illegal immigrants are sent back to their countries. In Haiti people have nothing they eat mud pies and this is not an exaggeration. And I never see anyone marching for them.

For Mexican-Americans and Illegals. You need to start holding your govt. accountable for the problems and stop blaming the US. I don't think your a criminal in the sense that you will harm, steal, or cheat. But it is a crime to immigrate to this country without documentation. So when I see people marching I'm confused. To me it's like a large group of bad drivers protesting their speeding tickets screaming, " We speed, and we don't think we should have to pay this ticket even though we broke the law."

And if the US is imoral for sending illegals back to their countries then why does Mexico do the same thing to illegal crossing their boarders from Central America.

OK the reason i hate illegal immigrants is because they come to the us in search of a better life because of how poor Mexico is they come here for more money and.... work for almost any job like you said but also work for lil to no pay and the Americans hire these Mexicans because the only want to be payed less the an us citizen and now all the illegal immigrants are taking our jobs and soon there are only going to be illegal immigrants in this country and also there taking our jobs so now many us citizens are losing the jobs to ppl who dint belong here and should go back to where they came from and do it the right way!!!!!!!!!!
