Why does Mexico, a rich country, dump their unwanted on the US?

The answer is simple, as "why" always is. Because, it works for the Mexican society. Poor illegals have been strolling through our borders since before the World Wars. America's borders have never been secure. We should learn from the American Indian's mistake, and limit immigration to levels that don't destroy our society.

The government doesn't care about its low class citizens - Period - that's why we get stuck with them..

The Mexican government is absolutely corrupt.

There are jobs in Mexico for the lower class but the jobs they do have are taken - Our politicians practically lure the illegals here with the promise of amnesty (which usually fails because of American citizens - thank God) and employers who hire them.

Because they are geniuses. What a great way to weed out your unwanted. We, of course, welcome "Your tired, your poor, your huddled unwanted masses"

The amazing part is our government sees this and knows its happening and even sends more money in the form of aid..... If you ask me the Mexican government has perfected the hook and crook scheme....

I don't understand why some government or large organization, even if it is not ours does not insist on something being done - some places are so poverty stricken it looks like the after math of a hurricane or a tornado....... People need to scrutinize Mexico the way they do China...

Illegals send tons of money back to mexico. It falls second to Mexico's oil exports. So of course Mexico is happy with the way things are. It is easier and more beneficial to send poor people to the U.S, than for the Mexican government to come up with a viable solution for their poverty.

Been to Mexico, have you? Seen all those wealthy people you so cavalierly talk about strolling around? Apparently while you were there the blinders you were wearing caused such severely limited vision that you've brought it back with you.

Mexico has appalling poverty... lack of health care, and human rights abuses that would shock most Americans...

Illegal immigration from Mexico is a problem, one we need to find a solution for. But one thing you can be sure of. The majority of the people running for our borders are not running from the wealth of their own.

53% of the population makes less than $2 a day. There is a tiny percentage with enormous wealth, but a vast number that are just trying to survive by going where they can make enough to feed their family. US economic policy has depleted MExico, and they are economic refugees. Change hose policies which greatly enrich US corporations and their owners by driving wages in Mexico down, hiring practically slave labor at non-subsistence wages. That will stem illegal immigration. The rest is just enforced starvation.

becasue they are able to get benefits here and welfar with almost no questions asked and a unlimited supply of work...it is harder in other countries...
