Why does a bunch of racists anti-immigrants want to impose their will to the American people?

The racists in this issue seem to cry the loudest! Their agenda is to have a pure, all white America. But since America is made of immigrants, their argument is weak.

Although I agree we must regulate immigration, we cannot have an 'open season' mentality on illegals coming over for a better life, its hypocritical, since most immigrants came here for that very reason.

It is all in the definition of 'comprehensive' and the Senate Bill is ludicrous. The American people do NOT want anything like that. "Comprehensive" in the mind of the Senate is "Pork Barrel unlimited immigration at our expense" in the mind of the people.

The American people can only be accurately assessed in a vote. So why don't we put it on the ballot and let them vote. Since you think the American people are on your side, I assume you will help me to collect signatures to make that happen....

I have nothing against immigration, as long as its legal and through documentation instead of illegally crossing over.

its like someone breaking into your house and demanding to stay. Sure, he can stay because you still have the resources to support them via space and food. But when 30 to 40 of them come in unwelcomed, you cant support yourself anymore at all.

Its better to invite them in through the front door with your consent. That way, you can make sure you can still function while allowing the max amount of people stay.

If immigrants came to find a better life, don't you think the better solution is to make Mexico a better place to live? Oh maybe they dont have to means to...so let the US government invade Mexico like they did to Iraq. Im not serious about that but I dont get the choices some people choose; We shouldnt impose democracy on other countries yet our own democracy is getting undermined by another countrie's poverty. Its like a lose lose situation.

Face it, the role of a country is to secure its own people before worrying about people from other countries. And when we think we can fit more, please show them the way in.

The American people want closed and secure boarders. The last time I checked Mexican wasn't a "race" it was a country. Hispanic isn't a "race" it's a language. The American People don't want a "free pass" to citizenship for *ILLEGAL* immigrants. Learn the facts instead of demo talking points... dumbass

(insert rolling eyes here)...try getting an education, because being anti-illegal immigration isn't racist..cuz most of us don't have a problem with LEGAL immigration. I don't care WHAT country a person comes from, just don't believe they are entitled to our resources without respecting our laws on immigration. If they can't start out being legal....what makes you think they won't just disrespect any of the rest of our laws?

The other day here in California, an illegal imigrant was arrested, for a hit and run turns out he was a gang memeber who had been deported 13 times for acts of violence and drug smuggling. If you are for illegal imigration, I think you should welcome him into your neighborhood with open arms. I am not saying that all imigrants are like that one, but the point is we need enforcement so we can know the good one and the bad ones who are here.

The term "racist" has been so overused that using it now is a joke! People who want to have their own countries laws enforced does not make them a "racist". Why don't you call them a bunch of nazi's? That term has been so overused it's lame and has no effect.
People who use these terms have no argument.

I've been wondering the same thing.

No triple the majority HERE on y & a and according to the radicals maybe. But what counts is what happens and you see what's happening don't you? Anti's are so scared now they are trying to take the laws into their own hands.

you know what I don't understand is how any person who can sit there and have that much hate and anger inside themselves over another man who is just trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, ask any one of those ignorant idiots what they would do if they were born into a life of poverty and famine and hunger and if all they had to do was wade across a river or catch a ride in a van and they would tell you no they wouldn't do it they are lying, not all American people want a comprehensive plan, some of them want them dead, they have a lot of hate in them and I could never relate to that kind of person, I know you either sink or you swim, and anyone that has made their way here deserves to be here plain and simple, besides this great nation was built on slaughtering the indians and enslaving the africans, who are we to tell other people no they can't live here?
