because they r the majority. and obviously the route undocumented illegals come through from. here is my perspectie though. i am an american white woman and the way i feel about it instead of the american people getting upset with the mexicans and hatians, cubans, etc... and believe me the list is long. the people in this country should be upset with the government. remember the people who voted for this president. for those who argue and say they did not vote for the president they should tahnk their fellow americans who did not vote. and if they still want to argue that the election was stolen this is all on the backs of the american people. by 2050 the majority in this country will be hispanic statistics show this. they come here and have many kids then bring over the whole tribe. how ever it is not their fault. there are ways to stop it. but it is up to american people to say they have had enough. get the current government out of power. we all know that peaceful protests never work out. history shows this. poor people are out raged by illegal immigration because they say they are taking the jobs. i guess this is true considering there are many people in this country rediculously under educated thanks to the no child left behind act. the middle class are disappearing in this country because americans do not like to think for themselves. a good solution to the ILLEGAL immigration is to build one big fense. for those who argue and state that it is impossible israel has one it has a huge dyke seperating the fense with a road and there is electric shock systems all over the fense and sensors where there are bases every mile to alert the military when some one is attempting to go through it. there is another road on the other side and barb wire on the top. this is pratically impossible to cross. but these are measures that they have taken to keep the palestinians out. this could certainly be done here. not to mention america gives free and vlear 5 billion a year to israel in aid support. which is funny because america already is in debt 7 trillion dollars. so for all americans rather then blame the immigrants blame ourselves. we are the ones allowing our government to do NOTHING. |

its because theres so many of them, and more and more pour in every day. and they are the only ones that we have a problem with around here as far as all of them living off the goverment, gangs, crime, drugs. if it wasnt for all the trouble they make , we wouldnt notice them as much. just like the other immigrants from other places. |

I actually agree with you on this one...there's no point dumping on Mexicans as there are indeed other nationalities here illegally, but I will offer this caveat...if there were 11 million Jamacians flooding in here, they would no doubt be the primary focus of attention for the issue. |

Because most of the illegal immigrants in this country are Mexicans. That's just the facts. There are other races from other countries here illegally but most are from Mexico. |

There are more ILLEGAL people from Mexico in the United States than all other countries combined. So, I'd say the ILLEGAL Mexican population is more of a problem. And the fact that they're pouring over our border in staggering numbers each day makes them more of a problem than, say, Asians. |

the main reason is that there are many, many more illegal immigrants from mexico then there are from anywhere else. the reason for this is simple: to come here from anywhere else but canada, you have to be on a boat, and almost all ports have immigration offices for people. not the packages, but people. to get here from mexico or canada, you just walk. |

have you ever been to Texas? Obviously not... I want you to go there, right near the border, with a lawn chair and a six-pack and sit and watch the illegals cross the Rio Grande. It's quite a sight. They avoid eye contact because they feel ashamed that they have to do this, but if we were to accept every alien as legal and give them automatic asylum, imagine how many more people would come to America. True, we were found on the basis of immigration, and our forefathers were illegal immigrants, but they didn't work for pennies on the dollar.. they were smart, not hard-working. |

I keep seeing this question and I think it is one of the reasons the debate turns to 'Mexicans'. If the question keeps being asked 'why do you hate Mexicans' it helps put the debate into those terms. I am against illegal immigration of any illegal immigrants from anywhere. I think there is a lot worse out there than 'Mexicans', and they are all using the broken border to get in.
Having said that, Mexico has criminals too, and it is a fact that they come here as a disproportionate percentage of illegal immigrants from Mexico, one step ahead of the law. Being a criminal in one's home country is one reason people leave.
Unfortunately, the same broken border lets in all kinds. |

I personally, have not heard anyone ever specify the Mexicans, except Mexicans themselves. They are the ones who think that the U.S. is racist against them or some bull, but really we just want them to get here legally, like the others who worked their asses off trying to save up money and learn english before coming here. I would never disrespect a country I was going to move into by coming illegally or not learning their language before I went. |

No, the US did not 'dump' it on Mexicans, they never specified really. It's just that the majority of illegal immigrants are immigrants, and it's a fact. The only ones really at these 'boycotts' are Latinos so I hope you see that. Plus, Mexico is right there, on the border, we have to pay attention. And Candadians don't like us anyways so we don't really pay attention to the northern border.
You can't just let people jump into the country, it's a felony. If you just let it slip, I assure you taxes will rise, medical insurance; it's already pretty pricy, just wait. We'll overpopulate, what about our economy? You have to take care of yourself first, the country. But I'm not saying we're conceited (a bit maybe), otherwise we wouldn't be helping in other countries (I wouldn't include Iraq - which is a whole different other issue), so I would hope you would understand that we're not dumping this on Mexicans, media is pinpointing basically towards Mexicans. |

No one is dumping on Mexicans. The House of Representatives of the United States of America was going about its business of governing this nation by the people for the people. What people? The people of the world? No. The people nearby our country? No. The citizens of the U.S.A.? YES. Concerned that things were not as they should be, they passed a bill that said that ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS would be considered felons and anyone aiding them would be breaking the law as well. They are not singling out Mexicans, but all illegal aliens.
Mexicans and other Hispanics began marching in the streets with Mexican flags. This is where the "Mexican" part of the story starts. So, don't act like the rest of us are being discriminatory to Mexicans. We citizens can't help it if 70% of the illegal aliens in our country are here from Mexico. We can't help it if you are drawing attention to yourselves when the law covers illegal aliens from all nations.
I don't hate Mexicans. I don't hate Latinos. I want people to come legally or not at all. If you can't get here legally, don't come. Don't tell me it's too hard or too expensive. We've made it that way on purpose so that there will be a slow to moderate trickle of people from all countries, and not a flood from just one. |

I don't necessarily think it's everyone dumping on the mexicans...I think it's in part the media focusing on the fact that the mexican population in america is the only one that feels willing to stand up and voice thier opinion. I personally think that if America just follows the rules we already have in place and big buisnesses follow the rules...then we'll be fine. |
