They are wide spread in Latin America and they could easily fight for the children in the slums and sewers of Mexico.. they don't.
They could easily fight the corruption of Mexico, but they don't, and maybe, they are the source of corruption themselves. That would be a repetition of the past by the ways as the Catholic Church sold huge forgivenesses to the wealthy.. for everything.. in one of the more corrupt acts the Church is guilty of.
They could easily fight poverty and they instead demand the United States move aside and give the illegal aliens their jobs sos the Church can profit from the money moving south.
Anyone interested in this mess can do a search for catholic illegal aliens and they will discover a huge resource of information.

Cardinal Mahony Says Illegal Aliens Committing ID Fraud Is Not Theft
By Digger
http://www.diggersrealm.com/mt/archives/002249.html
Yesterday I mentioned a protest being held in Philadelphia where Cardinal Roger Mahony would be at an immigration
event at the National Constitution Center downtown.
I have gotten word from Stop The Invasion of one of the questions that Cardinal Mahony was asked by an audience member.
During the question and answer period at the above forum, the moderator asked Cardinal Mahony a question submitted by a member of the audience.
The question: Since the 7th Commandment says "Thou Shalt Not Steal", doesn't smuggling, identity theft, breaking and entering and fraud come under this commandment. Doesn't this apply to illegal aliens?
The moderator then gave Cardinal Mahony a chance to think about his answer. He smiled and answered, "No", to some laughter from the 99% pro-illegal alien audience. Cardinal Mahony said that the commandments are about "Thou Shalt Not" and went on to explain his approach.

1) Why does not the roman catholic church spend her money in Mexico to resolve poverty there?
Because Mexico is one of the wealthier nations in the world.
2) Why isn't the church creating job programs so nobody has to illegally enter into America ?
a) the Roman Catholic Church does not have that much money
b) the Roman Catholic Church - like all churches - has the primary purpose of spreading the gospel, not the creation of jobs To them, as to most churches, souls are far more important than jobs.
3) Why isn't the Roman Catholic Church not more vocal there about corruption there and demaning corruption reforms and more social programs such as welfare, food stamps in Mexico ?
Because these are political issues, and (like most churches) the Roman Catholic Church makes an effort to *not* become involved in political issues. The Roman Catholic Church is *not* intended to be a branch of the Mexican government - or of any other. Their goals are primarily *religious*, not *political* OR *economic*, in nature.
To put it another way: it' *should* not be a goal of the church to
a) help people make money
b) instruct people regarding political leaders
c) criticize leaders who are less than ideal
These are all things that the government should do for its people, and that the people should cause to come about through the democratic process.

"Her money"??? what is that!
Okay I am a proud Mexican-American Catholic. The money goes to the church and the prietst's expenses. It's not like the Catholic church is wealthy and can spend all of its money on other countries. Yes, we do support foundations like donating clothes, food, and money for the poor for some countries, but we can't rescue a whole country for its poverty!
You should do a little research on Catholic churches. |

Catholic Church Urging Illegal Mexican Immigration
http://ezinearticles.com/?Catholic-Church-Urging-Illegal-Mexican-Immigration&id=55557
excerpt from link above: "The Catholic Churches in Mexico City are urging their herds to send able bodied men to the United States to work. They tell parishioners that by going to the United States they can work and better feed their families. And of course telling them to send lots of money back home so those remaining family members can pay the healthy tithing that the Catholic Church so desires. Many young Mexican men are taking the option seriously and coming to the United States, as MS-13 Gang Members who can make big money selling drugs and stealing. By sending coming to the United States to steal and sell drugs they can send lost of money back to their families to keep them in good standing with the Church. The Church of course has a policy of forgiveness and does not ask where the money comes from. Additionally they do not care the cost that this generates in jails, rehabilitation or enforcement for the Average Catholic American."

Write to the Pope personally I cant see why the Church should not spend a little of its vast wealth on helping the poor..after all thats how they get their money in the first place...
But I think you will find Brand Catholic Church likes to keep its money in the bank... |

It is cheaper to import poverty into the U.S. and let the U.S. taxpayer foot the bill for food stamps, Medicaid, and education. Combatting poverty in Mexico would mean overcoming the cultural corruption and sloth which is endemic. |

Excellent question! I can't think of a single reason why they shouldn't. They should definitely spend their money in Mexico and address the poverty of their religious zealots there. |
