Why is everyone so scared of illegal immigrants?

If your not concerned about illegal immigration, you either live in a bubble or aren't educated enough to understand the detrimental ramifications due to illegal immigration.

Most people totally realize that illegal immigration is a bad thing and there is much, much more to it than just the word illegal.

That's a slap in the face to all the legal immigrants to say that illegals are the same as them or that the only difference between a legal immigrant and an illegal one is the the word "illegal".

I live in california, there is a concentrated amount of illegal immigrants primarily from mexico all over the CA. its not that we are SCARED of immigrant its that being illegal is tied in with helthcare taxes jobs and a lot more complexities then just being "scared" of them.

Look, we are not a "nation of immigrants". While my ancestors may have been immigrants, I was not. I was born and raised in this country, and it is the only country I get. That means I must depend on this nation and this nation alone to provide a stable workforce as well as a stable society for me to take part in. It is the only nation I have! Having to worry about losing my job because an illegal immigrant will do it for less, or having to worry about not being able to even get a job because I don't speak whatever language the latest wave of immigrants speak is not a sign of good governance. Illegal immigrants don't scare me at all...they piss me off! The operative word is "illegal". By definition, they are criminals and crime makes me angry. To compound that anger, the illegals will often flout their crime and demand rights and services that they neither deserve nor are entitled to. As a side note on your comment about someone "not being here if they were kept out like this"...did you ever consider that some people came and still come here legally?

PS by the way, if your question is about illegal immigrants then the "only difference" part of your question would pertain to all of them. that's 100% professor. unless you have a theory that explained how 5% of illegal immigrants were not illegal.

Do you honestly think that other countries in Europe (or any where around the world) would permit their own resources to be depleated, schools to become over crowded or hospitals to become a place for free care of people other then her own citizens? There are also human right issues-these same jobs that Americans do not "want" are the same jobs that pay well under the minimum wage, exploit their workers and give them no benitfit nor the future of which they dreamed.
There is also a huge issue with crime, and these people who are in no way registered are free to lose themselves in America with no ability to trace them. For that matter, it is also of National security that we find out who came here illegally. If it is that easy for a poor mexican to cross the boarder, think how easy it would be for a terrorist.
I harbor no ill will to those who wish to make for themselves a better life here, but what America should be focused on is making a better life for her citizens and giving them a future. One that includes better education, more jobs and the ability to afford health care.

I am scared of the illegal for the following reasons:

I am scared of paying taxes so the children of illegals dumb down the standard of education for our kids.

I am scared of seeing illegals fill up 33% of the jail/prison system in America with criminal mentality that they brought with them.

I am scared of seeing the emergency rooms at hospitals fill up with people ( illegals ) that can't pay for, just so I can have the pleasure of paying for them each time an open enrollment for health insurance comes up.

I have a few questions for you that might just answer your question for yourself if you think REALLLLLY hard.

Why are illegals so afraid of their home countries? Laziness - they want what someone else spent generations building just because those people have more then they have.

Why do illegals want what is not rightly theirs? They are thieves - they have stolen into a country, tried to steal jobs, medical and social services and feel they have every "right" because they were born in a country that is not as wealthy (notice I didn't say poor!!!).

Why do illegals continue to think that they haven't done anything wrong? Because our corrupt politicians (dems especially) continue to try to give them amnesty while our liberal media portrays them as "just trying to make a better life".

The answers are actually very simple to me.
