Why is it illegal for Mexicans to immigrate to America?

its not illegal if they do it the legal way. there is a process that needs to be done to immigrate to the US. These millions of people who come here illegally every year are cutting in line in front of another thousand or so who are trying to come here the legal way. All counties have policies on immigration, not just the US. Do you think that it is easy for an American top immigrate to Mexico? NO they are worse then here

Its not illegal for anybody from any country to immigrate to America,, what makes it illegal is if they get smuggle without any permission from the U.S goverment. No matter what country you are from, you must have approval to be in this country. Some mexicans have the urged to come here and get a better life and they can't afford to go through all the pins and needles (rules of regulations)to come here legally. It would take them months if not years for them to get approval and thats why most of them don't want to bother with the wait.

Because the USA is a country with a government, and this government has the sovereign right to make and enforce its own laws. One of these laws is that you are not allowed to take up residency inside the USA unless you are given explicit permission by the government.

Perhaps your question should be, "Why do so many Mexicans feel they can break the law whenever they want and come here illegally?" It's not illegal to immigrate from Mexico, so long as you go through the proper process.

Because it becomes a burden on the government to provide them with jobs, resources, housing etc. Its the problem of administration.

It isn't illegal for them to immigrate to America as long as they go through the LEGAL channels when they do so. It only becomes ILLEGAL when they choose to sneak across our borders instead. Oh and did you know that Mexico has strict immigration laws too? Oh but wait, we're racist here for trying to enforce the ones we have on the books when they are enforcing theirs!

It is illegal to sneak into the USA just like it's illegal to sneak into the movie theater.

It is not to immigrate, it is illegal to push to the front of the line or not follow the rules the rest of us did to immigrate.

It is not illegal if Mexicans follow the rules, go to the US consulate in Mexico, apply for a Visa and come here.

What is ILLEGAL is for Mexicans and any other foreign national to cross the border without permission from our government. (pretty obvious isn't it).

I am extremely tired of people acting like is soo easy for mexicans to come here and that mexicans are being lazy by coming here illegally when these people actually have no idea what the law actually is. Let me ask everyone a question exactly how much time have you each spent researching the subject. Not just talking to your friends about it actually researching the current laws because if you had spent much you would not call people stupid for asking why they can't enter. The true facts if anyone actually cares is that if people want to to come here from certain countries such as Mexico and the Phillipines it is extremely difficult. Those people need a relative here a job in a specialized area or they can just wait for ten fifteen twenty years and then they may have a chance. Oh also if you have half a million dollars to start a business or if you are famous or family of a famous person you can come here. So basically if you have something to offer the US then we'll take you otherwise we have enough mexicans which not all are illegal and not all don't speak english. Maybe if you listened carefully you might realize that they are speaking english you just sometimes have to listen more carefully when someone has a accent and the only way to get rid of that is practice and being around native speakers. People want to talk about the drain on resources how about someone that pays into taxes and social security for years and never gets it. thats not a drain. Maybe if we stop deporting people that have children here than there underage children going into to state care wouldn't be a drain on our resources or the mothers who need help because they don't have that extra parent because he can't come across the border and help her. Because contrary to popular belief even if you have a child here you can't use that to stay. A long time ago if both parents were illegal one could stay but that is no longer true and we have many cases of parents being deported and their american born children are stuck here to be taken care of. If you are worried about people taking your jobs think about this last thought if someone supposedly can't even speak the language and still gets a job over you than maybe you should take a look at your own work ethic
