It is not a good idea at all. And I am very surprised the Government takes such thoughtless actions.
Why people are screaming about immigrants is that Americans feel very vulnerable and are just blaming everything and anybody just as long as it makes them feel better.
Be strong. There is information you need to know. This is a good start, but keep searching. Ask more questions about the what you can do to help yourself in this situation, but ask specific question like, "how do I find assistance with childcare in my situation".
(And, don't let others get you down, because they just have nothing better to do with their lives.) |

Bonnie and Clyde dealt with this issue too. If you know you are breaking the law, you know the consequences of your actions. |

This is the exact reason they don't think about their actions. They think it is so easy just to pick them up and deport them with no consequences. After all - it's not their family that is being ripped apart. That's why they don't care.

You have the option of leaving with your husband. You have that right. This country will be here when you and your husband come back in the legal way. Don't blame us, we didn't break the law, sadly it was your husband and father of your child. |

I regret that you have had to under go this adverse experience. I do not know how you feel, but I could begin to guess. However, you are a rare case to a national law. Coming to this country in the way that you did, for whatever reason, was illegal. With that said, risks were taken. The outcome of that risk is the situation that you are going thru now. If you really want to have your daughter reunited with him, then follow him back. Then apply for admittance according to US law. I'm regretful for what you are enduring. |

That is just the thing it is not okay. Though that will not stop a politician from ordering it done because he thinks he will get a few more votes. |

If immigrants don't respect our laws and enter the country illegally, how would they ever respect our laws once they are here. |

SORRY ABOUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU I REALLY AM BUT HEY, ILLEGAL IS ILLEGAL. IF SOMEBODY REALLY WANTS TO BE HERE IN AMERICA, THEY WILL TAKE THE RIGHT STEPS TO BECOME LEGAL TO STOP ALL CHANCES OF BEING DEPORTED. |

You knew he was illegal and that this was a possibility for him to be deported, right.
You knew what you were getting into. It's not the government's fault. |

I think you just have to except the fact this is not a perfect world and what you choose to do you have to take the responsibility and feel the responsibility for your actions. This also happens in Mexico and they are not as nice as the U.S. You may not like the policy but this is a nation of laws. America does more for children then any other nation on earth. If your problem is that hard pressed why not go be with hubby instead of complaining about America enforcing their laws.. You have to do your part as well!! |

If you're Mexican, you all should go home.
If you're white, you got your just desserts for race-mixing. |

There are consequences to every action. He did something illegal and the consequence is he is being deported. That was his choice to make and it was your choice to marry him and to have a child. No one is stopping you from going with him. Why don't you just leave with him and then your family won't be "ripped apart"? |

BOO HOO Listen if you and your husband had followed the rules he wouldn't be heading back to Mexico. Yea I'm sure it hurts but don't expect the rest of America to lose any sleep over your little plight. If any thing you are hurting your cause merely by saying that we should feel bad for you what's next. oh feel sorry for the drug dealer off to prison because he has kids, or the rapist, or the child molester, hey what about the Enron people who went to jail I'm sure that they had families and they still went hell Martha Stewart went. You want to know where America needs to put their sympathy.... how about the families who go years with out seeing sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, husbands etc who leave and deploy to live in conditions that would make a Mexican slum lord cringe that's who you need to feel for. I hope you have read this now take a second and calm down...............Good now go get you man a green card a get him his citizenship |

It's not okay to rip a family apart, because of immigration. But unless the immigrants didn't have a green card, or green card renew. Then you are in trouble. |

You are in the process of experiencing what happens when you try to build a future on a lie...it will ALWAYS crumble....Don't try to tell me that you didn't know that someday this would happen...you don't have to have your family "ripped apart" you can become the illegal yourself by following him to his country. If anything I have sympathy for the little girl who apparently did nothing...it is you and your husband that caused the grief in this little girls life and now you are pointing fingers at America for doing the right thing. |

all countries around the whold have laws, those laws help to maintain a healthy society. Everyone has to live by the same laws, just like driving if everyone drives following the same laws then driving is a safe practice. Immigration laws are no different if your husband would have followed the law then your daughter and you would not be suffering. he caused the pain. America has the most open immigration laws in the world. It is easy to follow the law and become an American citizen. He choose to do it his way now you and your daughter pay the price and he get exported for 10 years. Thats right if someone come into the country illegally and get exported they can not come back to this country for 10 years. |

why is it so hard to understand the word illegal?....hey, thousands
of people enter this country the "legal" way and go through the channels to become citizens...why on earth should we give special privileges to a certain group?
by the by, check on what Mexico does to illegals in its borders! |

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but then again if you love your husband so much wouldnt it be best in love to move where he is being deported too. Think about it, if you love him so much you will move to his country,,,,,true. Or is it you want the cake and eat it too. |

Dont confuse his crimes, with law enforcement, your filtering your world thru biased eyes. Sure your pain is real, but every action has a reaction, there is only one truth! |

I thought if a citizen married an illegal that action made them legal. If you have an 11 month child, lets see hubby must have been here for about 2 years already, why hasn't he applied for citizenship? Maybe it is the both of you knowing that your hubby is here illegally and choosing to bring a child into the relationship, is where the fault lies. Don't blame our government sister, your hubby broke the law. And dont tell me these illegals have no money, what are they paying their mules with, drugs? |

While I understand your point and sympathize with your situation, please consider that this is true of ANY criminal. Any person who breaks the law and is arrested is ripped away from his or her family. Children have seen their fathers or mothers handcuffed, put into police cars and taken away without any real explanation or understanding of what is going on. Does having a spouse and child exempt people from paying for their crimes? Should criminals of any nationality and citizenship status be allowed to do whatever they want to do when they want to do with no regard to the laws that govern the land in which they live? If so, then what is the point of having laws and law makers? |
