America has things like welfare for American citizens. Why should taxpayer money go to take care of illegals, when there are so many of our own to take care of. Welfare, food stamps, free health care, education, school lunches, are to be used for our countrymen that need it. No amnesty for illegals, send them back. The reason there is a problem with it is because so many illegal aliens are getting aid that the people that are citizens or at least legal residents can't get help when they need it because there is nothing left.

I'm glad you're asking questions instead of just making assumptions, as some people do. I don't have all the answers, but I do know a few things. U.S. citizens have lived here in their own country and have paid into Social Security for years, and all along, we've been hearing how it's not going to even last until we get ready to retire. Here we are, working hard all these years, paying taxes with OUR MONEY, and some people from another country want to sneak across the border (which I'd understand if they wanted to work and make a better life, as long as they wanted to join this country), but some want to sneak across the border, and then think it's okay to take money that we and our families and ancestors have paid in all these years? Does that make sense to you?

Every person for illegal immigration should be forced to compensate these innocent people who have had their social security numbers and identities stolen by these illegals who invade our country with no care who they hurt. If someone who has had their social security number stolen gets married, if either spouse dies or become disabled then they can be denied their benefits.

Therefore, the time limits under the Clinton welfare reform doesn't apply to them because once the time limit is up, all they have to do is get new stolen social security numbers and identities and false papers and start all over again. American citizens who draw welfare are limited to the time limits from the welfare reform and are then cut off. American citizens who fall on hard times and have to turn to welfare assistance have a harder time finding jobs that pay enough to live off of because the illegals have taken jobs and depressed the wages of those jobs still available to American citizens. Therefore, those in the lower working class are highly unlikely to ever be able to "work their way up" since the opportunities have been stolen which will entrap these people into poverty with little to no way out.

My family moved to the US before WWII. Those of my family that didn't make it over got killed by the death camps. Our family assimilated to the American culture. We didn't expect the Americans to change to suit us. The illegal immigrants from Mexico are not civilized like that.

They not only changed the National Anthem to Spanish, they changed the words. They already burn our flag and hang our flag upside down. They waved the Mexican flag during a lot of their protests. Some schools have stopped hanging the American flag and forbidden students from wearing clothes with any part of the American flag on their clothing all to keep from offending the Mexicans. It's nothing short of an attack of our country, not only by the illegal aliens, but those who seek to appease them.

I am tired of the stereotype that Americans wouldn't do the work that illegals do. Illegals do all kinds of jobs for less than minimum wage which drives the wages down for U.S. citizens. Construction jobs are an example. There are lots of illegals doing construction jobs that Americans used to do because the companies can keep more of the profits if they pay less for the workers. All that does is make companies wealthier and Americans poorer. Illegals are stealing jobs that Americans have done for years.

chupa, if you're not a US citizen, and you're not on our shores legally, GET OUT. Who cares what you want? Get welfare from the mexican government. I think we should abolish welfare, period. It will result in less people coming to our country, and ease some social pressures for the people that were born in it, followed the law all their lives, worked, only to find that their taxes are now going through the ROOF to support half of the world's indigent countries. THAT **** has to STOP. Immigration's out of control, and if our politicians won't push to have effective and lasting reforms implemented that will severely restrict the number and rate of new entries into the country, and thereby preserve some kind of livability for the people that already live IN the United States, then we need better politicians who actually have some sort of intention of actually representing the people that 'voted' for them. I think there's a Big Disconnect between Washington and the american public, and that connection needs to be re-established. I think it is no big deal that everyone is making to be. They work here, pay social security taxes and spend their money. I will gaurentee you that none of the businesses that they spend their money at will ever reject it because they are undocumented. every day indocumented workers lose benefits, and cant claim most goverment aid programs anymore, but the goverment still takes taxes from each paycheck they get, and at years end they cant get any of that money back because they dont have a ssn.

welfare is made for americans. hispanics that are not legal need to go get welfare from their own countries if they dont like it. Our country is in a major deficit. We are straight out broke. Americans who really need welfare are unable to get it because of budget cuts. a family has to divorce just so the mother can get food to feed her children. Schools are being built for illegal immigrants while other people have to go without because of a tax cut. How can our country help others when we cant even help out own. You are referring to Illegal Aliens, which are a totally different subject. They are criminals by choice, that try to hide under the hardships of real immigrants as an excuse to break our laws. Mean while the hard working immigrants that migrated here legally, respect the laws, and showed concern for the well being of Americans by going through the medical and background exams are losing their jobs, and being forced into low wages, and poverty in America, because of these criminals. Deport them, fine their country for breach of international security, and deportation costs, and let them show some real courage by doing some good in the country from which they came, so they have no need to come back.
I say anyone caught in America illegally should permanently be banned from ever entering the country, or applying for citizenship. Maybe, then they will take our laws more seriously.
Allot of Americans feel this way. Amnesty has already been given twice, and twice it has been abused. Americans will fight this issue until our laws are enforced, and new harsher laws are put in place to discourgae illegal aliens from breaching our border security in the future. And as the American people are demonstrating all across the country by sending more troops from six other states to secure the border. and ensure our national security. These criminals will not be tolerated, even if our government says it is okay. It is not up to the government, and they know it, that is why the amnesty bill has been postponed until November. If 20 Million Illegals are granted amnesty I hate to think what Americans will do next. Some don't believe in diplomacy, and if our government shows them they are right, it doesn't exsist I fear for the future of all Americans.
And, as for the welfare racist crap you were spewing if you are American more than likely you do not qualify for any benefits. It doesn't matter what color you are. If you are an illegal our hospitals hand our free health care, and food banks feed them, why do they need the welfare system?

You get out of the system what you payed into it, at least that is how it is supposed to work. But, political refugees and illegal aliens have severely reduced any benefits I may need in the future.
