Indians are NOT ON WELFARE> as a rule, the percentage is too low to accurately measure. On the whole, they are goal driven and educated. They learn English often before entering the US. Compare that with Mexican immigrants who speak as little as possible. As an elementary school teacher in California, I can attest to that.

Your numbers are wrong. There are approx. 3 million Indians in the USA. Now, how can 2,700,000 be illegal?? That would surely set off alarms, don't you think???

Besides, if you checked the numbers, 70% of all illegal aliens in the USA are from Mexico. It takes a certain kind of individual to be an illegal, one who cannot tell the difference between right and wrong. So regardless of where they are from, they need to get out and stay out.

I have a problem with all Illegals, Mexican, Indian, Irish It does not matter. The illegals come here and in many places get the benefits from our society (services) with out paying for them (taxes).

Our country is great because of our "melding pot" diversity, but when someone arrives here they need to adopt our american culture. As I see things that is not happening anymore. Many now are demanding that we (America) accept them as they are and make accommodations for them. I want people from other cultures here, but I want them to come legally, and assimilate into our culture. Bring what is good from your culture and make it part of america.

Because there are not that many! Look up illegal! Besides 81% of illegal aliens are from south of the border. India makes up less than 1 % of the illegal alien population. We should get rid of all illegal aliens in this country no matter where they are from. This is what is normally stated. Concentrating on less than 1% of the illegal alien population isn't going to help a lot! Go after them all regardless of race, creed, color, national origin, etc. A criminal is a criminal!

I'm pretty sure that illegals from India have been covered when people have stated that they want all the illegals deported.

It's pretty much the lobbyists for Mexican illegals that are pushing the race card, not American citizens.

I think if you ask most of the anit-illegal alien side, we would respond by telling you that it does not matter where you are from if you are in our Country illegally then you are not welcome and need to go! The pro illegal alien side is the one that tries to make this issue a one race issue to try and call us racists. When in fact we do not care what race, color or creed you are, if you are illegal you must go.
