We are not afraid of anything except the illegals who use all our services from health care, to affordable housing as if we owe it to them. We in the United States feel everyone should abide by our laws and if they do not, they should go to jail. Coming here illegally IS against the law, therefor anyone who does is a criminal.

If you live in Price William County, as I do too, then you would see all the problems that illegals cause!!
House property values are going down (illegals don't take care of their houses, thus bringing down the values of other houses),
hospitals are hurting for money (do you really think every illegal who goes to the ER pays their bill?? dont' think so),
crime rates have increased (no explanation should be needed for this),
economy is bad (again no explanation needed), etc!!

Millions of immigrants have come to the US "for a better life" through the NORMAL and LEGAL process. What's so hard to understand about that????

Every country has the right to control the amount of people coming to its boarders. With illegal you don't know who is coming in. I really don't care much about. They are not all criminals I don't know why people say that. Some are desperate and want to make a better life for them self. There is nothing wrong with that, but we can't just have an open door to let everyone in.

Think about it this way, would you leave your front door to your house wide open?

The illegal immigrants will continue to corrupt America. We allow anyone to come in here, pop out babies like machine guns, (bonus check for welfare, which means more money) and allow anyone born here to become automatic U.S. citizens. Think of the U.S. as a small jar. Think of the world as a massive glass container. The marbles represent the people...as long as you try to put more and more in from the large jar (represents the entire world), to the small jar (U.S.), eventually, it will start overflowing. That is what is happening...overpopulation is HUGE right now. The rate we are going at, we won't ever be able to build enough roads, houses, schools, hospitals, etc., the way we are growing. The economy is bashed every single year. I have no idea how much the budget is for illegals, but it has to be billions, even trillions of dollars. They come here, get free food, health care, rob from Social Security, live off of welfare. The more kids they have, the more checks they get, so why not have eight to ten kids? The financial burden is horrible...no telling how many trillions these illegals are costing us yearly. How do we stop this crisis? Well, just take the benefits away. If we didn't have all the FREE things to offer, they wouldn't be coming here. The education...HAVE ALL BOOKS IN ENGLISH. Don't let the illegals get college education...take them back to Mexico if they can't get citizenship (it's not like it's hard in the first place...it may be a long process, but not hard.) The unemployment rates will continue to rise because they come here, don't work or anything, get everything for FREE, so why should they work...they just get everything handed to them in the first place. If they get paid to sit on their butts eating burritos all day instead of working, why not? Bringing more people in to take jobs...BS! If a legal U.S. citizen needs a job bad enough, he/she will do whatever they have to do to get that extra money.

I want to say, every human being has rights. Before people point fingers, they need to walk a mile in an immigrants shoes. I don't think they enjoyed crossing a hot dry desert with no water for days. I don't think swimming the Rio Grande was a day at the beach. Do you think they don't know they could very well die before they get here? I think that if you had a wife and kids who were sick or starving, you would do whatever it takes to get them what they need to survive. I'm sure it is hard for them to be so far away from their families in a country that does not welcome them with people who are so hateful. You don't want to be someplace you were not welcome, but you risk your life to save your family. Think about it...

Fact is....... the word is illegal. What part of that word illegal do you not understand? If they came into this county legally then that's fine but we will not tolerate illegal immigrants no matter what county they came from. Plain fact is the massive invasion of illegals from Mexico and to a lesser degree other South American counties is putting a massive burden on the American taxpayer who has to pay for the free medical care, education, food stamp, subsidized housing and every other form of public assistance available in this county. Quite simply most of the illegals are poorly educated and burden on our society. They need to return to their country of origin as our laws require.

The U.S. has the most open lines with all the countries around the world. but I think what upsets the U.S. is when people come in make their money and then take it back to their own country and pick on the U.S. saying rude hateful things!!!!!I am not from the U.S. but I live here and I see what other's do from other countries and what upsets me is how they put the U.S. down but they all want in for the money. How would other counties like it if the U.S people did the same to other's?

The HUGE stand is not against latinos or immigrants! It is against all illegal aliens, who have entered this country and refuse to go home and get in line, if they want to come here! There are a million reasons to want the illegals out of our country and they have been discussed, so I will skip that. No one is afraid either, I think instead, we are outraged!

In 1931 there were less than 2 million Latinos in the USA. Today there may be as many as 65 million. In Los Angeles County, where I was born and raised, there are now over 10 million people residing there. That is more people in 1 of 58 counties in California than the entire state population of any state except for seven of them. I was born into a majority population but am now a minority in my own city, county, and state. And much has changed. In the SouthWestern United States today gone are many of the fields, groves, orchards, and farms that once provided for the American dream and in their place are often sprawling concrete barrios held down by La Raza gangs preaching a political ideology of Reconquesta riddled with falsehoods. That's what I must navigate my way through each and every day now. Along with ever increasing taxes as city, county, and state governments look for new ways to pay for their spiraling deficits. My state is broke. Broke, broke, broke... and it used to be flush. We have so many Latinos on social welfare here that if we cut it tomorrow, millions upon millions would bolt into other states overwhelming and shocking the citizens currently living there. So the question before us is what to do? Do we call everyone a racist who doesn't want to continue along the path we are on or do we seek policy change in this country to bring us some relief and normalization? We could sure use it where I live. Of course my vote doesn't go far any more. I'm only 1.29% of my city demographic, less than a 1/3 of my county demographic, and a minority in my state now. You're vote won't either someday unless something is done now.

U.S. ...at least the decent people in the U.S. are against illegal immigrants because they are bad for the nation. It just so happens that most illegals are Latino.
It doesn't help that Latinos protest the most and are in support of illegal aliens and most think that illegals should have rights they do not deserve.

And what, exactly, is the "recent Prince William Co, VA" incident? Do you even know? YES, I do know. I AM a proud member of both Help Save Manassas and Help Save Virginia. There is no "incident". Rather, the citizens of Prince William are acting within the law to check the legal status of anyone arrested by police and holding them for federal authorities if their status is illegal. We also have limited the number of social services (such as drug addiction programs and adult day care) for illegal aliens. It's a WONDERFUL beginning, but still has a long way to go. We need to keep the pressure on the illegal aliens within the county and the state. I'd hardly call it an "incident" but rather citizens who are fed up with federal inaction and are attempting to deal with the invasion of illegal aliens as well as they can within the law.

We are afraid of who exactly is coming into the country as they have no criminal background checks, like legal immigrants do.

We are afraid of what communicable diseases they are bringing into the country as they have no health screening, like legal immigrants do.

We are afraid of what they are doing to our economy as they depress wages for legal residents, drain our welfare monies and social services, overcrowd our schools and have helped to destroy our housing market.

We hate that they have stolen the opportunity to immigrate from legal immigrants.

We are afraid of the heightened cases of crime, identity theft and drugs that they have brought into our country.

We are frustrated that they just don't get it that laws apply to everyone...not just everyone except them.

Dylan, don't get your knowledge from youtube. Illegal immigration IS a federal offense. That's EXACTLY what it is. Under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who:

* Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or
* Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or
* Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact;

has committed a federal crime.

Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months. Repeat offenses can bring up to two years in prison. Additional civil fines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civil fines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense.
