Every nation was created by bloodshed, murdering of children, women and men, and slavery. Since our country is newer, it seems like we are the only ones. Delve into history - you will see. I mean, let's discuss the ancient Egyptians. You think the rich and the pharoes were out there in the hot sun building those pyramids?? Nope - the SLAVES did it. And you think that the great kingdoms were gotten by saying "please"? Nope - WAR.
Again, your song and dance - though quite a laugh for my husband and I - is very self-important. It is the way it is. That is a fact of history. Look into any history of any country, and you will find all of what you are ashamed of - and more. |

Yes, you should be proud. The US is the one place where extermination of cultures and traditions is both the culture and tradition. I'm damn proud of that too! It is one of the great equalizing factors of the country; we see that the "culture" and "tradition" of other countries are merely justifications for discrimination.

Remember...NOBODY is holding a gun to your head forcing you to live here...if you are that disgusted w/ your country i'm sure there are some other places in this world that you may find it more at home. It never ceases to amaze me that the people who criticize and act ashamed of the fact that they are American NEVER try to leave! If i didnt like a place so much, i would leave but perhaps they like having the freedom to express their disgust, a freedom that they have HERE mind you and a freedom that is rare in other parts of the world. I wonder if the mexicans who jump across the border or the cubans who build rafts out of tin cans feel that they are coming to an oppressive evil greedy nation? Methinks not. I would love to get census or immigration records or whatever of the total number of Americans who expatriate themselves annually vs. the number of immigrants (legal and illegal) who come to america. I think we all know which number is much larger! |

why don't you immgrate in to another country ( for example germany makes it very easy for usc )and after some years (i think around 4 ) u can apply for the german citizenship .....
