Why should illegal immigrants have any rights in a country they don't respect??

They shouldn't have any rights. They are here against the laws of the nation. They need to be sent back. I think while they are all marching tomorrow, they should be rounded up and sent back to there home countries.
My wife is a legal immigrant. She gets madder then I do about this. It's a slap in the face to her, she worked long and hard filing the proper papers and waiting to become a legal citizen.
I get upset about them marching with the other flags as well. If Mexico is so great, then go back there and demand rights there. Why do you come here illegally then demand we give you rights and provide you free medical care,housing,and food.

i think tomorrow would be a perfect day for immigration to be out in the field asking for proof of citizenship. if they dont have it, off they go! it makes me sick the way they have been allowed to just invade our country and ruin education, health care, break laws, drive drunk, belong to gangs, and not have proper immunization. do you know that i have to get more polio (and measles and chicken pox) for my job (school teacher/consultant) because of the influx of illegals in our country that are not immunized and are spreading disease that we had once eradicated in this country? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Illegal aliens should be treated no different than anyone else who commits an illegal act in the U.S. The only difference is that they should not be placed in our prison systems. That would just cost more taxpayer's dollars. They should immediately be driven to the nearest border and dropped off. Unless of coarse enough people from one country were to enter illegally. Then we should consider them an invading army. Repel borders and drive them back. Then consider any other individuals entering our country from theirs an enemy of the state and they should face capitol punishment.

Right ON!! Where they should be marching and protesting is in Mexico. They should start cleaning up their own government, system and country to make it more livable for themselves and also for their future generations.
one thing I don't understand is, if they actually have so much pride in their flag, why don't they care enough about the country the flag represents to build it into a country they can be proud of. Otherwise, their flag is just a cheap colored piece of cloth.

You are right. It isn't right and when you get them protesting in the streets of Phoenix, like they did a year ago, I believe the cops and IM agents should have rounded them all up and sent them home. I am not for their mistreatment, I would just put them all on planes or buses and fly them back to their country starting with all of the ones in jail or any that have been arrested, as they are every night in Phoenix for drunk driving.

Even I would make exceptions for the best and brightest and the ones who have been here over 7 years, but the ones that have come through since then have definitely not been Mexico's finest and they stand as day laborers all over town here, and lower citizens wages.

I live in Phoenix and drive past them every day, and hear gunfire quite often !!! Next door to where I work a year ago the cops rounded up 40 illegals all in one house with drugs and guns, and this is right next to 2 schools. We were on lock down as we were in the line of fire.

I keep reminding people that may day, may 1st is a day traditional used to show hatred towards AMerica. The Communist, Anarchist and Black panthers used this day and it often break out in violence and acts of terrorism. I;m wondering who decided to use this day to protest immigration.

As part Cherokee myself, I would like to remind the illegal lovers that the natives of the United States are those who were BORN HERE. Ancient history indeed has a lesson for us - this country has never been mexican, the Apaches made sure of that. And unless we do something to enforce our national sovereignty, then the whole country is going to look like the third world cesspool of Los Angeles.

Illegals have rights in mexico too and by virtue of the mass Exodus from that country they have no respect for their brothers and sisters that are at least trying to do the right thing by making change instead of taking change.

i'm neutral...what i don't understand is why people-like you for example- are interested in knowing the opinions of others about immigration if the person that decides to oppose your point of view will always get thumbs down...with all dear respect....if you're not willing to respect others point of view about this topic don't ask questions...once people are willing to respect each others point of views...then we should start asking questions like these

Why should the US go to other countries and try to make them a democracy? Why should we force our beliefs on other countries and their citizens? You see, why should we follow rules that even you can't follow. It's not all Mexicans you see on TV. It's not always Mexicans that are caught speeding on the 101 or flying down sunset blvd. We are the majority in Los Angeles. Always have been, always will. But when you want us to abide by the laws, you should too.

Perhaps we should repeal NAFTA so that Mexicans aren't forced between coming here to work for crumbs or staying in Mexico to watch their children starve. NAFTA has destroyed the Mexican economy.
