HOW EVER YOU WANT TO INTERPRET STRENGHENING BORDERS WHETHER JUST ACKNOWLEDGEING THEM ARE STRENGHTENING THEM BY ADDING MORE SECURITY GAURDS OR WHATEVER

Alright immigrants come here for work, there isn't any work.. pretty much theres only crappy jobs that lazy americans dont want to do such as simply raking leaves, or some construction. Thats what I think.

They shouldn't! they should strengthen our borders to help stop "terrorist and weapons of mass destruction", not people simply coming here for work. We are more at risk of another terrorist attack because the border patrol has been ordered to focus on immigrants from Mexico, and not their original mission which was "Terrorist and Weapons of Mass Destruction". Yes! there's violence at our borders, but President Obama and Hillary Clinton clearly pointed out that the drugs the cartels transport here, wouldn't be coming here if we didn't have all these drug users. And the weapons they poses to make them powerful......90% of them came from the US....google it!

Border Patrol needs to focus on their mission

The chief patrol agent believes the Border Patrol's mission has changed.

"When you look at the series of events that have happened over the last five, six years... our mission changed," Manjarrez told AP. "Our primary mission changed from our traditional focus. Our primary mission now is terrorists and weapons of mass destruction. That is what we have to be focused on."

But that can't happen when resources are being deployed primarily against illegal immigrants simply wanting jobs. "We can't focus on that (new mission) as much as we would like because of the other issues we have to deal with," Manjarrez said.

If terrorists or weapons of mass destruction do make it across our border with Mexico, the first finger of blame should be pointed at Congress which has chosen to pander rather than to provide realistic approaches to illegal immigration.
