They should pay back taxes because if you are a worker who pays taxes, those taxes that are deducted from your check every time you receive it....those taxes pay for those immigrants & childrens Medical exspenses ( all of it ) it pays for their education ( to have spanish speaking schools cater to them by having teachers who speak only spanish to these kids because they do not know English ) that's $$$ of yours that goes to that, brings down wages and hobs for Americans....they are a burden and need to pay back what they took from you and all of us!! |

Plus they paid taxes all along and never got a tax return, they should just give the people that overpaid all those years a HUGE return. Or put it towards the $2000.00 fee that the Senate is proposing. |

Your argument assumes that the illegal immigrants are black, when in fact they are mostly Mexican. And last time I checked, I don't remember the US government enslaving Mexicans for the last 300 years. I do not support slavery, and I am a proponent of equality for all, but equating illegal immigration with US slavery 300 years ago is like comparing apples to oranges. |

that was 150 years ago. shut up about that already. it was obviously wrong because its done and gone now. slavery is bad, and the slaves were brought against their will, even though their tribal chiefs were participating in the trade for gold and riches. Native Americans were slaughtered and their land was taken by the people that they originally tried to help, and people with Native American blood aren't complaining about the past that nobody can change. slavery is wrong, yes. but its done nd over with. nobody should ever forget so it wont happen again, but it really has nothing to do with immigrants. besides, it was the Europeans that started the slave trade, so hate them. the US was a British colony, so there were slaves already here. in fact, slaves have been around since the dawn of society. |

Why should the government have paid slaves for labor? If anybody should have paid for their labor, it would have been the plantation owners. The slaves did not earn money, therefore they did not have to legally pay taxes.
Your analogy is like comparing apples to oranges, you can’t do it.
The illegal Mexicans are earning money, NOT paying taxes and sending it back to Mexico, helping the mexican economy, not the US. |
