Here's my friends idea, and I really like it so I am adopting it.
For every hard working, illegal mexican in the country with an underpaying job that no one else wants we take two otherwise healthy, physically capable american citizen adults who are wasting my tax money by being too lazy to be employed and just surviving on welfare, or crime, or something else nonproductive and ship them to Mexico as an exchange. I think thats a really fair trade. |

I have been to Mexico many times and have Never been robbed by anyone.
I know people who have bribed police to get out of trouble they caused themselves - but that's not the same as being robbed. |

first off, i've been to mexico on vacation a few times and i have never been robbed once. the same goes for my family, my cousins, and everyone that i know that has ever visited mexico.
second, that sort of corruption you are referring to is the same sort that the immigrants want to escape. i thank you for acknowledging it. some might deny it. |

Two wrongs don't make a right. America, at least, to the degree that it stick's to it's Constitution, is committed to equal protection under that law. You don't get to abuse someone simply because of thier ethnic background, nor even thier legal status. While illegals can and should be deported, thier human rights are still protected, as least as long as they're here... |

First off, I can respect your opinions and I am sure that you have a just reason to feel this way. I would probably feel indignant too if I was robbed, though it should be directed at the individuals who did it rather than a nation as a whole.
Aside from that though, it is not really a "trade off" as you put it. It is the fact that we as Americans have a duty if you will to be humane. In Iraq, they are cutting off the heads of our citizens and soldiers as a practice, but aside from a few bad eggs, we do nothing in comparison to what they do. They do not follow the Rules of War and many feel that we should not either because of it, but you know what... we are bigger than that. We are a people who feel that it is better to be doing the hard right over the easy wrong.
In other words, it is our obligation to help out those less fortunate than us. Not trying to be rude, but just saying that by your logic, we should rob and treat inhumanely every illegal that comes across the border that we catch? |

If you are a Mexican citizen, but non-mexican born - you'll still be a 2nd class citizen when it comes to property, jobs, etc.
And god forbid you take part in a rally or a protest.
For the life of me, I have never been able to figure out why the USA seems to bend over backwards for Mexico. They aint sharing that oil with anyone... |

I just think everyone should realize that ALL countries have immigration laws that are to be followed. I don't get why they come here and think they don't have to follow these laws. We as citizens have to do some of the same sort of things. Like paying fees or fines for everything, getting state IDs, getting fingerprinted if you apply to government jobs, getting shot records for your kids, etc. That is the way it is here and if you want to live here, you have to do it too. |

that is a bunch of lies I personaly know at least 10 couples of gringos living in San Miguel De Allende ,Guanajuato,Mexico, and they bought houses there and live under their retirement checks and No they are not Legally in Mexico , and no one cares , if you got robbed in Mexico there is a little office called Embassy, I hope you know what that is , you file a complain in that said office . and why do you want to become a judge there , if you can not even solve your own problems here DUDE. good day. |

I would not go to Mexico anyway. Why should you vacation in a third world country? It does not matter anyway. We should not give rights to any illegal alien whether they are from Mexico, Russia or anywhere else. |
