They have never had to experience hard times, or the desperation knowing how to provide. They think it is so easy for you to walk up to the INS and say, here lets start the paper work so I can be legal. What they don't understand is Mexicans are at the end of the line. It is alot harder for them, all the other people come first; Europeans, and those from the South American countries. They will never understand hardship, and what it is like to have to live like that. They chose not to see the heartache, they only want to see things through hate filled eyes.

But we have to pay for them. Poor people don't pay enough in taxes to cover their costs in education and other services. That is why we limit how many poor people can come. It takes money in schools from our own children, and degrades health care as well.

We feel badly for them, and so long as it was a number we could bear, didn't make too much fuss. However, the burden of stretching our services we pay for to cover 12 to 20 million more people is a huge burden.

And don't call names. It doesn't help your argument.

If you can't handle the problems of your country, and feel the need to flee into this country to work illegally, then why do you think someone should sympathize with you? For what purpose is your below minimum wage work doing for the government? However, the influx of illegal immigrants that fraudulently obtain ss#'s, and come for the purpose of having their children born on US soil do a great deal of depleting the resources that are there for LEGAL American citizens....Maybe if you concentrated on your country's problems while in YOUR COUNTRY...you could resolve those, and then maybe you could do your own border security to keep us out.....Yea right....Like we'd want to be there

I just want to say that it is an indisputable fact that the majority of our illegal immigrants are Mexicans and, while people keep saying Mexico is a 3rd world country, Mexico is NOT a 3rd world country! That fact has been established - it is something like the 11th richest country in the world!

If immigrants choose to come into our country illegally because they can't qualify under our immigration laws then, what does that say to you? YOU DO NOT QUALIFY, THEREFORE YOU ARE NOT A DESIRABLE IMMIGRANT TO OUR COUNTRY, THEREFORE, YOU CANNOT COME, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE, STAY OUT!! If you do NOT qualify, and you still want to come, find out what you need to do to go about fixing your personal deficits so that you DO qualify to come legally! If you do NOT qualify because you have some incurable and/or communicable disease that is going to cost us a gazillion dollars to treat medically, DO NOT COME HERE! If you do NOT qualify because you have a criminal record, either get yourself a pardon or DO NOT COME HERE because you are an UNDESIRABLE and we DO NOT WANT YOU IN OUR COUNTRY! If you do NOT qualify because you don't know any ENGLISH, then learn some English and re-apply! If you do NOT qualify because you don't have the fees, then save the money or borrow it from all your relatives you are going to be helping to support later when you get to the USA and start working and sending money back home.

You're wrong, downloading a song without paying makes you a criminal, so does bootlegging a DVD, speeding, jaywalking, jumping over the barrier at a subway station. In fact, doing anything that's against the law makes you a criminal. The definition of "criminal" is "one who commits a crime" and a "crime" is "something that goes against a political law". Crossing the border illegally is against a political law, the same as murder, possessing heroin, or using Bittorrent to get movies.

Calling someone a criminal because they judge another person isn't correct. I can judge you for drinking soda, I can judge the president because of his hairstyle. Condemning someone isn't correct either. Have I violated a political law by condemning you for eating chicken? No, I've made a judgement on you, and set my opinion of you. It doesn't make it right, but it doesn't make me a criminal.

Do people in other countries seek a better life in the US? Of course they do. Is it easy to come in a legal way? Not always. But the reason not everyone comes in a legal way is for several reasons, none of which have to do with Americans being ignorant. The first reason is that they don't have the money to come over legally. Which is sad, but a fact of life. The second reason is that they can't come over legally because of a criminal record or they're carrying something illegal. These people shouldn't be allowed in the country at all because we have to do our best to keep the country secure.

You also quote "he is without sin cast the first stone", which in essence you are doing. However, pride is a sin and belittling is a sin, both of which you had commited before finishing the post. Not only that, but casting a stone at someone is a sin as well, which is the whole point of the passage.
