While I wish I could say yes to most of your questions,I'm not sure all will happen.
Our government has no real reason to change anything.We as Americans haven't voiced or demonstrated how adamant we are about this issue.And until we do ,things, will remain the same.
We have gotten so used to "letting the government" handle everything that we have become complaisant and also compliant.
Until we wake up to the fact that to get change ,we must DEMAND change.On June 14,15 and 16 in Washington DC there will be a March For America.The web site I will put below.
Its a grass roots group that has decided that the time for action on the illegal alien issue was "yesterday" They wish it could be sooner than June but getting permits for something this big is difficult.If you cant get to DC,then at each states capital building,
marchers will gather with speaker etc and will march at the same time as in DC.This is your chance to put your body where your mouth is.Go to the web site and get all the information.I have all ready made my plane and hotel reservations.I hope to see you all marching and not just talking about it.If you really want all the things in this post to happen then we legal Americans MUST show the politicians we are mad and we aren't going to take it anymore.It will be a peaceful march.Very controlled and there are rules.No drinking etc.Its not a party its to save this country from its own lax government.

It is a federal felony to aid,shelter,hide and protect illegal aliens and it doesnt seem to help because it isnt enforced effectively.

In addition, individuals or entities who engage in racketeering enterprises that commit (or conspire to commit) immigration-related felonies are subject to private civil suits for treble damages and injunctive relief.

Stop illegal immigration? A wall is fine, you arent stopping LEGAL citizens from getting in or out. Further more - make it illegal to hire, house them or give aid to them.

Immigration Reform.- Simple its called a bullet. You are invading our country. Keeping everyones wages low, poor benefits not only for yourself, but for the real citizens of the US. We have LAWS - if you want to be a citizen follow them and damnit speak english.

One can only HOPE!!!! However, the Democrats (of which I am one - but this is one issue I disagree with them on) seem likely to offer some form of amnesty, and are too "bleeding-heart" to offer strong legislation to end this disgusting and illegal infiltration! But, as I said, we can still hope! Take care.

You have a pretty long list for 2007. I would doubt that much will change in 2007. It will take the American people directing their elected officials to address this problem. Until then , I am not sure anything will change. If all we did was remove the jobs that illegals get by going after the companies that give them, pretty much the rest will take care of itself. No jobs, no illegals.

Only if we start now contacting congress....the general consensus is Kennedy-McCain will try to get amnesty legislation thru quickly after congress reconvines before they are "settled in". This cannot be a one time thing - write or call daily - it only takes a couple minutes and could be the best few minutes of your day! We need to help our country and fellow Americans....

As long as the citizens continue to let their feelings be known and keep this issue in the news and in the minds of the elected officials, they will have to start doing something meaningful about this problem or they will need to start worrying about their jobs and who exactly it is that they work for.

No to all of the above. Also most of these immigrants from foreign countries don't have English as a subject in school so how can they visit or get into the USA at all? That's discrimination.

No to all of that unfortunately. 2007 will be the year that Congress grants amnesty to all the illegals and fails to change anything in the hopes that the media will focus on something else so they can leave the problem for another 15 years until another amnesty is called for.

Dear Sir, our government is making so much money off the criminals that crossed both our borders. I never really realized what robots most american citizens are, the gov. has our control box in their hands and we who give a flip about criminals living and working among us, do'nt matter!! Why can criminals lay out of work, organize riots all over the world on certain days, leave a trash for tax payers to cleans up, they said to hell with work and got away with it. If Americans could afford to take days off work to riot against our government like they did, mabe we could get the message across. Nothing will ever be done about this problem. Illegal crossing will continue for many many more years.

Of course not... supply and demand. Unskilled laborers are no more going to stop coming here than cocaine or heroine. The only difference is that our hunger for the latter fuels terror in the source countries and the former allows money to be sent back. Why is it so important that English be the official language?
