I'm sure there will be some relatively well-educated opinions on this (mine isn't one of them) but seriously, this isn't the kind of question you should be looking for answers to on the internet.
If you're dead set against going to the immigration authorities in the US in case they stop you before you even get started, then go to an immigration advisory service. There are quite a few of them, they're free and many are staffed by volunteer legal people with specialist knowledge on immigration/emigration matters. |

When applying for residency in any European country, you do need to report any previous convictions. It's up to the person reviewing your application to decide if enough time has passed or not, the nature of your crime, and if there is a danger of you committing a new crime in their country whether or not to accept or reject you.
A UK friend has been banned from a tourist visa to the US because he got in a bar fight when he was 18 and was arrested. He paid a fine and was never even jailed. He's 41 now and has never even had a parking ticket since then, but still can't visit the US despite trying to apply for tourist visas over the years. When he spoke with someone in the US embassy in London, he was told that because of his "violent" past, he would be denied a visa. |

The EU doesn't have passports never mind dual citizenship passports!
Each country has it's own passport. Go look at your passport if you have one! There is a country name on the cover! |

I very much doubt it. If you were in the EU and asking about America I would say you didn't stand a chance, but the other way around - we probably won't even notice. |
