On a green card, the charges would individually would be enough to subject him to deportation, which he could appeal with a small chance of success.
Two felonies will absolutely result in deportation, and any appeal will also fail.
The system is set up so that one mistake can sometimes be forgiven. But this is a case of two strikes and you're out. |

If there is any justice in this country any more. Why should we let a criminal stay in this country if they can be deported, we have enough criminals that we can’t get rid of. |

one requirement for citizenship is good moral character. and since only citizen are exempt from deportation, they will probable deport him after his green card expired. I really hope am wrong with this. |

well, if he's had that much trouble, you really should be consulting an immigration attorney, so he can review all the paperwork on the charges, etc. However, assuming the drug charges are for something other than a small amount of marijuana, then yes he'll be deported. and if that's the case, he wouldn't be eligible for a waiver of his ineligibities for the drug charges and the deportation. So, unless you're prepared to live with him back in his country, it doesn't look very good for you at the moment. However, you really should talk to a good immigration attorney who would have all of the facts before giving you advice. |

With multiple felony convictions, including drug convictions, he will not be able to renew his green card and will be subject to deportation. If the conviction is reported to ICE, it could happen long before time to renew and should. We do not need immigrants who commit felonies. |

Very likely his green card won't be renewed and if he applies for Citizenship it will be denied with 2 heavy felony charges.
If his green card is not renewed and his PR status is revoked, then he will be subject to be Removal. |

I certainly hope he is deported. He does not sound like the kind of person we want in this country.
Please, tell me, you do not think you can do better than this?? |

If he is in the USA or Canada there is very little chance of getting deported, if the immigration officials try to deport someone in the US or Canada the individual makes an appeal and that usually takes a couple of years and by then he can change his name and move to another part of the country. For example about 10 years ago in Toronto Canada a guy from the Carribean killed 2 people in a gang war and he got life in prison, the parole board let him out after 7 years, the guy was later charged with assault and he is still in Canada awaiting his trial, that was 2 years ago and he is still here Illegally. |
