Will they deny my fiance visa?

my fiance got unemployed 1 month before he applied for fiance visa. it so sad. he came to see me filed a vacation from work and the first day he returned to work they told him he is fired because they eliminate his position. will that affect our visa application? please help. im a filipina and my fiance is a US citizen. he is my boyfriend for 3 years already. he worked in this company for like more than 4 years and they fired him without even informing him.

he just lost his job march 2009. he will be collecting insurance compensation on may 2009

Did he have sufficient income last year? Is he currently collecting unemployment benefits (it counts as income)? If you can answer "yes" to these questions, he should be able to sign Affidavit of Support on his own, without finding co-sponsor. Even if his income is not sufficient for approving your visa, it will not be denied, they will just ask you to find a co-sponsor.

Yes I am afraid it will, he has to prove he can support you when you come over, getting married won't change that requirement either, however all is not lost. He can either try and find another job before he files for you or if he has any US citizen relatives that have a job that would be willing to co-sponsor you that would work as well. If he does find another job, 1 month of work history will be sufficient.

He has to be able to prove he will be able to financially support you and without having a job right now, I do not see how that would be possible. He will have to get out and find a job right away.

He was not actually fired, his job was eliminated. This is happening all over the U. S. of A. now. Employment will be difficult for him.

Easiest way is to Get married then file to stay in the country.

If you follow the advice of Immigration they will make it expensive and may not actually work.

Wha tthey dont tell you is that if you get married then you can file to stay permanently. its cheaper and you wont get refused
