Will we encounter any problems getting back into the US with my wife's Green Card near expiration?

My wife's Green Card Expires in two weeks. We are returning to the US tomorrow from Cancun, Mexico. She has filed for the I751 for removal of the temporary resident status and has recieved a 1 year extention letter but has left this document home. Do you think we will face any issues because her resident card is so close to expiration (2 weeks away from the date that we are traveling)?

Your wife's green card is still valid, she shouldn't have any problems. |

as long as the greencard expires in 2 weeks and she is getting home tomorrow she is fine. however she should get that paper in the mail and have that paper of extenstion and the greencard with her when she is travel for the next year because it may take some time before she actually recieved the new green car. it took me 8months before i actually got the new green card and thats only because i had the miitary lawyer call and i was on my husband orders to leave to united states. but however it took me 30 days after that to get my citzenship |
