alot of people do it all the time, the biggest problem is when you get caught, and yes they have ways of finding out.

That is the fast way to get in over your head. The INS investigates almost everyone that is married to a foreign national. I am married to a Swede. they even looked pretty hard at us. Also, once you marry someone, you are responsible for any bills they incur, the other person has access to anything you own, and if they find out it was a marriage of convenience, you could be convicted of a felony, which will haunt you for the rest of your life...don't do it.

NO I had a friend that was going to do that for extra Money. Did some research if you get caught you will get in big trouble.
This is illegal. Don't do it get some one else to do it for him don't screw yourself plus you have to be married to the person for like 5 years. Do it legal it will cost less in the long run....

NO, I wouldn't do it. It can become complicated for both parties. Plus, I think it's considered fraud and it can be used against you later, in a legal way.

No. I would not do it, just becasue of what marriage means. I married my now wife, 10 years after we first met ( we lieved together, so technically we were married ) during that time I was waiting for an answer on my visa. I would not use anybody just to benefit my own personal interest. Marriage to me means more than a freaking green card.

GREAT IDEA IF YOU WANT TO LIVE ON TAXPAYER MONEY. Of course, you'll be living in a jail and probably not with your "SPOUSE". Do you read the papers? ICE is going after these fake marriages with a vengence and if I find out who you are, I'll turn you in and get you deported too for breaking our laws.

marriage fraud and the attorney that suggested it should be disbarred keep in mind that all fraudulent marriages sooner or late are discovered and after thinking that you are on easy street in your house ICE will come to bow it down sorry personal opinion i travel mostly in foreign countries and many times i have been offered this proposition for awholelot of money NO thanks i like to sleep securely in my own bed without worries

Don't do it. You will be breaking the law and end up in federal prison if you get caught. You are already here legally and sooner or later you will get your paper, why risk it?? INS does look hard into this type of sponsor.

I know a guy who got married mostly to get his green card. He is a very nice guy, he's decent looking, good athlete, charming and very popular with the women. Could have picked a better one, but I guess he needed the card and just took this one. He is in OK shape, but his wife is very overweight and not not very pretty so it's sort of a strange looking couple. They had a kid and the kid is totally adorable. They seem to be doing alright.

No I wouldn't marry for only that reason, besides marriage doesn't help anyways, unless they have a major hardship they still gotta go back or live in the shadows.
Marrying to become legal stopped long time ago.
You have to prove your marriage is ligament, which isn't easy.
