I think it would be an excellent idea, and in keeping with the intent of those who wrote the Fourteenth Amendment in the first place. Senator Jacob Howard was the man who wrote the citizenship clause found therein, and his stated belief as shared with the rest of Congress was that it was not meant to extend citizenship to “persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers.”
It wasn't interpreted that way until 32 years after its ratification.
Isn't it time to help curb the tide of illegal aliens using this misapplication of our own Constitution to thwart the laws of our nation?

A baby inherits the citizenship of its parents ONLY (and is NOT dependant on where it was born)
This is now the law for most other countries of the world - including UK, NZ, Australia, Germany.
USA and Canada are waaaay behind the times on this one. Although Canada does a lot better (than USA) in denying benefits for anchor babies. |

We need to start some where and this program is being abused and not for its intended purposes and the parents should not be having kids over in Mexico then coming for the sake of citizenship.Things like this reasons its needs to stop |
