Take away all the cushy jobs with hefty salaries and you'll find a lot more folks saying yes. We do what we have to do. |

Not unless I had no other choice! Then of course! If you dont work you cant eat! |

Yes, I wouldn't be happy about it. If you had to feed your children what would you do let them starve? |
|

Well, considering how everything is so costly today. I could do it and live on the street while I was doing it. I would probably be able to afford to eat and thats it. Thank god congress didnt raise minimum wage. |

Yes.We do what we must sometimes in order to live. I have done laboring jobs that were so hard physically; and mentally, humbling. My children had what they needed because of this. I would wake up so tired I wanted to cry, and still continue. I am a better person for it. It caused me to really think of others and their situations. We 're all in the same ol' boat. Bail water or swim. This is the only boat we've got. |

SURE! Not only that, I've got some great ideas to reinvent and revitalize that whole 'job'. Welcome to the Digital Age. We can whip up some 'lettuce bots' and for that matter, how about a lettuce conveyor system? If Fed-Ex can build a system that tells your package from 2 million others, and gets it there the next day, then by golly Farmer Bob can set up moving trays that vegetables grow in that can cycle around for watering/checking/harvest.
Mexico needs to get off its' collective *** and start doing more to support itself. America's carried them long ENOUGH. |

Someone has to do. I was taught to respect anyone who would work hard and make money honestly. If I was looking for work and couldn't find a job, yeah. I have picked peas before, so why not lettuce? At least you are outside instead of a cubby hole. |

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush! Take the minimum wage job and look for another while there. Eventually you will get a better paying job. |

Go to college. If you have to pick lettuce to pay bills while you get your degree, ok. |
|

Jennifer J

If I didn't have the skills to get a better job or if there weren't other jobs available I would. But, I think it would be a very difficult job. |

No, that's why I made sure I graduated high school and put myself through college.
Don't you think it could be a great job for the people crowding jails? Make them go work for the farmers instead of watching TV in an overcrowded cell all day. |

I would if that is what is took to feed my family. |

It is honest work isn't it? BTW, illegal immigrants should not be allowed to work in the first place. You cannot break the law and then ask for rights. I find the idea very strange. |

If I had no other alternative, I would do that as a means of getting to something better. |
|

Yukaza

Yes I would if it helped me feed and house my family.
Would I like it no I would not. Would I try to better my self and find a better paying job,of course .
But would I pick lettuce for minimum wage yes If that's what I had to do. |
